Our IT team operates as a business partner collaborating with our Company's Animal Health Technology Solutions business on ideas and developing innovative solutions that enable new capabilities. The Animal Health IT organization supports all IT Technologies, Platforms and Applications and is responsible for the overall Strategy and Governance for ongoing operations. The role of the Business Technology Partner is to be the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and the primary connection for the Animal Health Technology Solutions business to simplify interactions with Information Technology (IT) and is responsible for deploying IT services and resources to meet the business needs in the region. The scope of this position includes responsibility for the NORAM and LATAM regions, with involvement and some oversite for global projects as well.
**Primary Responsibilities**
The Business Technology Partner position will serve as the strategic interface for the purpose of technology development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management, ensuring successful technology introductions across the organization and with customers.
+ The following key capabilities must be embedded into the function: Strategic Planning, Business Analysis, Portfolio Management, Product Management, Project Management, Software Development and Operational Execution Excellence.
+ Maintain ongoing awareness and knowledge of business priorities and goals.
+ Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes.
+ Bring awareness of new technology and products to the business.
+ Liaise with the regional and global IT teams to ensure common support processes and IT solutions are implemented in the region.
+ Coordinate vendors, IT teams, and business to resolve system defects and harmonize technology with business process.
+ Act as project manager to lead the execution of IT project implementations and upgrades as needed.
+ Work with the IT teams and business function to transition new systems implementation to operations.
+ Produce technical documentation on the existing systems where applicable.
+ Identify opportunities where the system(s) can be modernized to improve efficiency and/or maintainability.
+ Responsible for annual planning, budgeting in support of the current business and future projects.
**Education Requirements**
+ HS Diploma, BS Degree or equivalent relevant experience in Computer Science or related technology experience.
**Required Experience/Technical Skills**
Minimum 5 or more years applied work experience in one or more of the following areas:
+ Understand the environment to implement the appropriate IT support model.
+ Managing external IT partners delivering IT operational services.
+ Managing IT services or projects in a highly complex and dynamic business environment.
+ Experience working according to ITIL processes (ITIL certification).
+ Excellent facilitation, consultation, and Influencing skills, including experience with outsourced service providers.
+ Able to explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding.
+ Understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for computerized systems.
+ Practical knowledge of project management, business analysis, product development and change management.
+ Must be able to work independently and enable/facilitate productive and business-like meetings as well as to work with individuals at all levels and demonstrate a level of professionalism that instils confidence and inspires trust

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels. Ability to identify and leverage the right people, processes, and tools to achieve planned results on time and on budget.

**U.S. Hybrid Work Model**

The salary range for this role is
$139,600.00 - $219,700.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
