**Job Title: Slab Associate Day Shift**

**Job Description**

Join a dynamic team where you will assist in the warehouse and slab yard, guiding large slabs of natural and manufactured stone to the viewing area and shipping docks. This role is perfect for candidates with a positive attitude who are eager to learn. You must be comfortable with basic customer interaction and be prepared to work in an environment that includes exposure to the elements and substantial walking.

**Responsibilities**

+ Guide and maneuver large slabs of natural and manufactured stone to designated areas.

+ Assist in warehouse operations including loading and unloading.

+ Interact with customers as needed with professionalism.

+ Maintain organization and safety within the slab yard.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience in warehouse, labor, or construction.

+ Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, covering approximately 6 - 10 miles daily.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Forklift experience is helpful but not required.

+ Open to entry-level candidates willing to learn.

+ Ability to work in heat and adverse weather conditions.

**Work Environment**

This role is set in a warehouse environment that supports commercial and residential applications. Working hours are from 7 AM to 5 PM for the first shift and 12 PM to 10 PM for the second shift, with optional overtime available on Saturdays. The facility is closed on Sundays and holidays. Employees are provided with water, ice, Gatorade, and coffee, along with frequent hydration breaks during summer. Dress code includes steel-toed shoes, work jeans, and a plain t-shirt, emphasizing comfort and safety for extensive walking.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, Arizona.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
