**Journeyman Stone Mason**

We are looking to hire **stone masons with commercial experience.** These are commercial projects located in the **Phoenix AZ area.** The pay range here is **$34-40** per hour based on experience. Most of our field employees are getting 40 to 45 hours per week. All applicants must have their own personal vehicle, and be ready to work hard outside for 40+ hours a week. Company paid health benefits and pay will be weekly for employee convenience and there is no one week delay!

**Job Responsibilities**

+ blueprint reading, stone cutting and shaping, mortar mixing and application

+ Laying stones accurately, ensuring proper alignment, levelness, and adherence to specifications

+ Experience using a variety of hand and power tools, including chisels, tracers, hammers, saws, trowels

+ Understanding the properties and characteristics of different types of stone.

**Job Skills & Qualifications**

+ High school diploma.

+ Minimum 4 years' work experience as a mason.

+ Ability to stand for long periods.

+ Ability to lift heavy materials and work long hours.

+ Ability to kneel for long periods.

+ Knowledge of hand-held and power tools including power vibrators, polishers, cutting saws, and edging tools.
