**The Role**

The IT Principal Architect – Service Assurance is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing IT architecture solutions that ensure high-quality, reliable service assurance for telecom operations. This role involves leading architectural strategies for monitoring, incident management, automation, and predictive analytics to improve network performance and customer experience.

**Location**

This role is designated as a fully remote position within the United States.

**The Main Responsibilities**

**Architectural Leadership:** Develop and maintain scalable IT architecture to support service assurance across network operations, ensuring seamless monitoring, automation, and analytics integration.

**Technology Strategy:** Define IT strategies and roadmaps for service assurance, aligning with industry best practices and emerging technologies such as AI-driven monitoring, machine learning, and cloud-based solutions.

**Collaboration & Innovation:** Work closely with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to design innovative solutions that enhance network reliability and performance.

**Incident & Problem Management:** Design systems that improve fault detection, resolution efficiency, and predictive analytics for proactive issue prevention.

**Automation & AI Integration:** Drive automation initiatives using AI/ML to optimize service assurance processes and enhance real-time analytics capabilities.

**Security & Compliance:** Ensure all solutions align with cybersecurity best practices, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

**Vendor & Partner Engagement:** Evaluate and collaborate with technology vendors to integrate service assurance solutions effectively.

**Data & Analytics Utilization:** Implement strategies to leverage big data, AI-driven insights, and network analytics for proactive service improvements.

Lead modernization of legacy platforms through microservices, APIs, and cloud-native technologies.

**What We Look For in a Candidate**

+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

+ 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years in telecom service assurance or network operations.

+ Deep expertise in service assurance frameworks, ITSM, and incident management solutions.

+ Strong knowledge of AI, ML, automation, and predictive analytics for network monitoring and optimization.

+ Proficiency in cloud technologies, APIs, and IT infrastructure architecture.

+ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

**Compensation**

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

$149,084 - $198,779 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY

$156,539 - $208,718 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$163,993 - $218,657 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
