Raytheon has an opening for a Principal Specialist, Contracts supporting the NSMS Portfolio within Raytheon’s Naval Power Strategic Business Unit, which focuses on Business Critical production efforts within the Standard Missile Family of effectors. This role will be supporting the Standard Missile 2 & 6 Engineering Technical Services Contract with the primary responsibilities including collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, providing contractual guidance, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements for proposal, negotiation and contract executions.

**What You Will Do:**
+ Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company goals, and comply with company policies.
+ Professionally represent Raytheon on contractual transactions and work closely with customers to develop and maintain business relationships.
+ Support the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contract execution, as well as general contract administration.
+ Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure the contract is followed compliantly.
+ Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual issues as they may arise.
+ Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations as well as possible mitigation of contractual/program risks.
**What you will Learn:**
+ Wide breadth of complex problem-solving experience in dynamic performance environment under USG Contracts.
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of prior experience, OR an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience
+ Experience with US Government (USG) contracts administration / management including proposals, cost structures, performance requirements, delivery schedules, terms and conditions, technical instructions or other closely related contracts experience
+ Experience in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and / or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), and equivalent U.S. Government regulations
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills to partner with others, work in a team environment, and defer to management as appropriate
+ Experience working in a regulatory environment with established company policies and procedures
+ Strong relationship building to develop effective and sustaining relationships with customers
+ Strong business acumen in areas such as finance and supply chain as it relates to contracts
+ Project management experience and /or strong organizational and multi-tasking skills requiring handling and prioritizing multiple assignments concurrently

+ Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).
The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
