Description

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist for a contract in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is a contract position designed for someone who thrives in managing complex payroll functions and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in payroll processes for large organizations and demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage payroll reporting and certified payroll tasks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

• Assist with audits, including Texas Workforce reporting and certified payroll audits, backdating 2 years of records.

• Submit payroll information into required portals, including B2G and other reporting systems.

• Maintain detailed records and documentation to support payroll activities.

• Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

• Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and practices to maintain compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing.

• Familiarity with multi-state payroll requirements and regulations.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll calculations and reporting.

• Knowledge of certified payroll practices is preferred but not required.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
