Description

We are looking for an experienced Criminal Defense Attorney to join our law firm client's team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in handling DUI cases and misdemeanors as well as some higher charges, who is committed to providing exceptional legal representation. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to managing cases and supporting clients in navigating complex legal issues.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in criminal defense cases, including DUIs and misdemeanors.

• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive case briefs.

• Manage case files using advanced case management and document management software.

• Draft and file legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court requirements.

• Collaborate with clients to develop effective defense strategies tailored to their circumstances.

• Advocate for clients during court hearings, trials, and negotiations.

• Stay updated on criminal law developments and apply them strategically to casework.

• Maintain clear and detail-oriented communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.

• Ensure all case-related documentation is organized and accessible.

• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, helping them understand their rights and options.

Requirements • A minimum of five years of experience as a Criminal Defense Attorney.

• Proficiency in using case management software and document management tools.

• Strong knowledge of criminal law, including DUIs, felonies, and misdemeanors.

• Excellent legal research and writing skills.

• Ability to effectively advocate for clients in court and during negotiations.

• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with clients and legal professionals.

• Bar admission and good standing in the state of Arizona.
