**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team at one of the leading aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities. With an FAA Class 4 'Unlimited' repair station rating, we provide comprehensive airframe and component MRO operations. The Aircraft Mechanic will be responsible for servicing, repairing, troubleshooting, and overhauling aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness.

**Responsibilities**

+ Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, systems, and functional components.

+ Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, structural components, and accessories using hand and power tools.

+ Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems using hand tools, gauges, test equipment, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brakes, welding equipment, rivet guns, and drills.

+ Research and understand FAA technical data relevant to assigned tasks.

+ Ensure complete and proper documentation of work performed.

+ Maintain all aircraft maintenance performed in an airworthy condition.

**Essential Skills**

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.

+ Experience with commercial/cargo aircraft.

+ Ability to work on large commercial aircraft.

+ High school diploma or GED certificate.

+ Flexibility to work any shift.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ A&P License preferred.

+ Strong attention to detail.

+ Ability to multi-task efficiently.

+ Proficient in documenting maintenance on required forms.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ Ability to maintain confidentiality.

**Work Environment**

The work environment involves heavy maintenance on commercial and cargo aircraft. Shifts available are Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat, with hours from 7am-4pm or 3:30pm-12am (with an additional $0.50/hour differential). Overtime is a possibility but not guaranteed, and the position is direct placement.

This is a Permanent position based out of Goodyear, Arizona.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
