**Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician**

**Job Description**

Assist with facility maintenance-related projects and tasks, respond to work orders across all buildings, and perform mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work. Tasks include painting, patching drywall, hanging pictures, changing filters, assembling furniture, and managing outside vendors.

**Responsibilities**

+ Respond to work orders in a CMMS and log information using an iPad or iPhone.

+ Perform mechanical work including painting, patching holes in drywall, and assembling furniture.

+ Conduct electrical tasks such as changing outlets, switches, and lights.

+ Address plumbing issues like fixing leaking sinks or faucets.

+ Identify HVAC issues and alert the appropriate personnel.

+ Oversee outside contractors or vendors to ensure work is completed correctly.

+ Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively.

**Essential Skills**

+ 1+ year of facility maintenance experience in multifamily, apartments, hotel, industrial, residential, or commercial settings.

+ Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

+ Basic plumbing skills including fixing leaking sinks and adjusting toilets.

+ Ability to change light bulbs and HVAC filters.

+ Computer/iPad/iPhone proficiency to look up work orders.

+ Strong teamwork skills.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ 2+ years of facility maintenance experience.

+ Experience with CMMS and automated building controls.

+ Ability to patch holes in drywall, paint, and hang pictures/white boards.

+ Capability to oversee outside contractors or vendors.

**Work Environment**

The role involves working across 5 properties, including manufacturing, office space, and warehouse settings. The company is expanding, acquiring a new building to consolidate space and grow by 200k sq ft. The night shift runs from Monday to Thursday (6PM-4:30AM) and weekends from Friday to Sunday (6AM-2:30PM). The focus is on building a construction-oriented team to develop necessary facilities.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, Arizona.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
