**Job Title: Assembly Lead**
**Job Description**
The Assembly Lead position is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted production flow in the assigned production process. This role includes providing problem support, coaching, and on-the-job training to employees to ensure daily operation goals are met. Additionally, the Assembly Lead will communicate with various support resources to resolve issues with production and efficiently operate laser systems. Using computerized manufacturing technologies, the Assembly Lead will guide the initial phase of the fabrication process.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure uninterrupted production flow in the assigned production process.
+ Provide problem support and coaching/on-the-job training to employees.
+ Communicate with support resources to resolve production issues.
+ Set up, adjust, maintain, and efficiently operate laser systems.
+ Use computerized manufacturing technologies to lead the initial phase of fabrication.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3 to 5 years of production assembly experience.
+ 2+ years of experience as an assembly lead.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word).
+ Ability to sustain and drive lean manufacturing and 5S activities.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with assembly processes and testing.
+ Leadership skills in an assembly environment.

**Work Environment**
This position operates on a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:20 PM (36 hours). There is potential for additional hours. The work environment supports lean manufacturing practices and follows a 5S framework.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucson, Arizona.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
