**Job Title: Material Handler**

**Job Description**

The Material Handler role is responsible for operations related to the final packaging or boxing of products, performing weekly cycle counts, coordinating material needs with shippers/receivers, and printing pick lists and work orders. The role involves following standard operating procedures and communicating with each department to understand material requirements and flow, while ensuring the quality of all products.

**Responsibilities**

+ Coordinate final packaging and boxing of products.

+ Perform weekly cycle counts.

+ Partner with shippers and receivers to coordinate material needs.

+ Print pick lists and pick work orders.

+ Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).

+ Communicate with departments to understand material needs and flow.

+ Maintain the quality of all products.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficiency in material handling.

+ Inventory check experience.

+ Warehouse management skills.

+ Experience in inbound/outbound freight shipping and receiving.

+ Proficiency with computers and relevant warehouse management software.

+ Ability to bend and lift heavy materials up to 40 pounds.

+ 2 to 3 years of experience in material handling or material coordination.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ 2 to 4 years of warehouse experience preferred.

+ Experience in kitting and material handling required.

+ Forklift Certification is a plus, with opportunities for certification provided.

**Work Environment**

The work environment includes first shift hours from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with occasional work offered on Fridays.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract position based out of Tucson, Arizona.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
