The Systems Engineering and Test Center's Life Cycle Engineering discipline is responsible for ensuring our products are safe, reliable, maintainable, and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability, System Safety, and Supportability.

A significant portion of this position will entail performing all aspects of sneak circuit analysis (SCA), which falls under the Reliability discipline. The primary purpose of the sneak analysis process is to identify and eliminate or control all sneak conditions that may lead to such unplanned modes of operation. Sneak analysis may be performed on high-criticality systems to uncover inherent design flaws that may cause occurrence of an unwanted function or the inhibition of a desired function. These may occur in hardware and/or software/firmware/configurable logic.

**What You Will Do**

As a Reliability Engineer within SE&TC at Raytheon’s Tucson, AZ facility, you will play a key role in ensuring product sustainment and mission readiness.

+ Conduct various reliability and maintainability analyses (e.g., reliability prediction, part stress and derating analysis); failure mode, effects, and criticality analysis (FMECA); built-in test (BIT) analysis; and sneak circuit analysis.

+ Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot technical issues, resolve sustainment challenges, and inform product design decisions.

+ Analyze and predict the reliability of military systems and equipment by identifying potential failure modes using various types of engineering data

+ Adhere to strict customer-driven reliability standards and guidelines.

This position is based onsite in Tucson, AZ.

**Qualifications You Must Have**

+ A Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) degree.

+ This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).

+ Strong circuit analysis skills

+ Understanding real and ideal properties of passive devices (resistors, capacitors, and inductors); semiconductors (rectifiers, Zeners, bipolar and field effect transistors); and analog, digital, power, and RF microcircuits

+ Ability to read electronic component data sheets and apply application note information to current designs

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
