PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled **Engineering Technician** to support our client, a global leader in aerospace innovation, in **Chandler, AZ** . This is your opportunity to be part of breakthrough work that impacts the future of space and defense technologies.

**Job Type:** Full-Time (6-Month Contract)

**Location:** Chandler, AZ

**Schedule:** 1st Shift (9/80A) – Enjoy Every Other Friday Off

**Starting Pay :** $29.64 per hour

**The Role & Its Impact**

As an Engineering Technician, you’ll work in a dynamic environment alongside structural test engineers and technicians to support critical testing of hardware used in next-generation launch vehicle systems. You’ll contribute to the hands-on execution of aerospace component testing—ensuring everything we send to space meets the highest standards of reliability and safety.

**What You’ll Do**

+ Support test setup, assembly, and execution of structural hardware tests.

+ Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to develop and maintain test configurations.

+ Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and schematics to build and document test setups.

+ Record, format, and report test data with precision.

+ Handle small and large components—sometimes up to 50 lbs—with accuracy and care.

+ Operate hand tools and equipment in a clean, safe, and organized environment.

**What You Bring**

**Required Qualifications:**

+ High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

+ Hands-on mechanical skills and proficiency with hand tools.

+ Ability to read engineering drawings and follow complex work instructions.

+ Strong problem-solving attitude and collaborative spirit.

+ Basic computer skills (MS Office Suite).

+ **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience with pressurized hydraulic systems.

+ Forklift and crane operation (including overhead lifting).

+ Familiarity with soldering and instrumentation (strain gages, LVDTs).

+ Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Costpoint, and MES systems.

**Pay Details:** $29.64 per hour
