Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Packager / Material Handler based in Casa Grande, Arizona.

Our Packagers minimum hourly wage is $17.25 (or more depending on experience), plus shift differentials. Several opportunities available on all shifts. Full-time.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

+ Works on assigned line to assist with packaging of yogurt containers by way of machine and / or hand packing.

+ Manually stack yogurt cases onto pallets according to specified patterns and weight limits to ensure stability during transport.

+ Upholds quality, safety, and cleanliness standards within designated areas.

+ Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient plant operators.

+ Set-up oncoming shift for successful run.

+ Expected to perform any duties necessary to support the team.

+ Obtain information necessary to perform duties at pre-shift and post-shift meetings with off-going associates.

+ Vigilantly monitor equipment operations for indications of impending problems and possible operational improvements.

+ Packaging associates are responsible for satisfactorily operating the corrugator and palletizer machines.

Education & Experience

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills / Abilities / Knowledge

Strong mechanical aptitude.

+ Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

+ Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and safety protocols.

+ Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

+ Flexibility to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.

+ Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
