Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this long-term (Part time, 5-10 hours/ week) contract position, you will play a critical role in overseeing project execution, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring deliverables meet high-quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in technical project management and vendor engagement.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with internal teams to define project objectives, technical specifications, and desired outcomes.
• Provide expert advice on organizational structure, content creation, and best practices to optimize project documentation.
• Draft, review, and refine project documents to ensure they are complete, clear, and adhere to industry standards.
• Identify and address potential risks or gaps in project documentation based on prior experience.
• Develop and implement vendor evaluation criteria and scoring methods to streamline proposal assessments.
• Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and progress.
• Monitor project timelines and milestones to ensure timely delivery of objectives.
• Collaborate with technical writers and other team members to produce high-quality documentation.
• Utilize tools such as Jira to track project tasks and maintain transparency.
• Provide strategic input to enhance project outcomes with minimal supervision.
Requirements • Proven track record as a Project Manager in software development projects.
• Extensive experience in creating and managing RFPs for technical initiatives.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
• Proficiency in using project management tools like Atlassian Jira.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to work independently and provide actionable insights with minimal guidance.
