**UOP Advanced R&D Engineer- Adsorbent**

Since then, UOP has been committed to applying its advanced technologies to help China's refining and petrochemical industry for meeting challenges on demand growth and product quality improvements.

With the continuous development and expansion of UOP in China, we are now looking for a talent to join our technical team to help build UOP business

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide technical and application support for air separation adsorption technologies.

+ Lead R&D projects, ensuring programs are delivered on time, on budget, and within scope.

+ Collect, organize, and analyze lab data to support business needs.

+ Collaborate with global technology, manufacturing, and commercial teams.

+ Coordinate lab workflow for adsorption business, including resource planning and scheduling.

+ Evaluate and apply new adsorption developments for local markets and encourage cross-technology innovation.

+ Ensure lab compliance with SOPs and HSE policies.

+ Plan for expanded equipment support to meet business demands.

+ Protect technology and new applications through patents and trade secrets.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

+ Master’s degree or higher in adsorption engineering, material science, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering; advanced degrees are considered an asset.

+ Over 5 years of experience in materials, particularly within refinery or petrochemical industries, including material evaluations and plant engineering experience.

+ Experience developing application technologies and approaches individually or as part of a team.

+ Demonstrates a global perspective, cross-cultural adaptability, and resourcefulness.

+ Knowledge of air separation, refinery and petrochemical processes, technologies, and industry practices is a plus

+ Project management and prioritization skills

+ Bilingual communication and influence (English and Chinese)
