Sr Advanced Systems Engineer
As a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer - Avionics here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of advanced avionics systems for aircraft. Your expertise in avionics engineering and systems integration, along with your knowledge of DO178, ARP 4754, and ARP 4761, will contribute to the safety, efficiency, and reliability of aircraft systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration and certification of advanced avionics systems.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager/Sr Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Bangalore, India location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a direct impact on the advancement of avionics technology, ensuring the safety and efficiency of aircraft systems. By designing and developing advanced avionics systems, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the performance, reliability, and functionality of Honeywell's avionics products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the design and development of advanced avionics systems for aircraft
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and certification of advanced avionics systems
• Conduct system-level analysis and optimization
• Stay updated with the latest avionics technologies and industry trends
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in avionics engineering or related roles
• Strong knowledge of avionics systems and design principles
• Proficiency in avionics simulation and analysis tools
• Experience with avionics integration and certification processes
• Knowledge of DO178, ARP 4754, and ARP 4761 standards
