Systems Engineer Advisor - JMSA Enterprise Engineer

HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems
● Provide engineering support including trouble ticketing, Break/Fix and problem resolution in a joint management system environment.
●Provide technical support in enterprise networking; system dependencies; Enterprise Technical Procedures (ETP); testing support,
documentation, interoperability; and operational engineering leading to product integration.
● Provide recommendations for both unclassified and classified environments and integration services to support and initiatives that integrate
with the joint management system, such NetOps, Management Services, Network routing, switching, cybersecurity, configuration
management, hardware, software installation support, Operating Systems, Virtualization, Blade Server, Structured Query Language (SQL),
Storage, backup, Directory Services, Thin, and Zero Client.
●Draft, modify, and provide input for white papers, diagrams, executive summaries, integration plans, Service Improvement Plan (SIP),
System Design Plan (SDP), Engineering Installation Plan (EIP), Information System Support Plan (ISSP), Change Management Plan (CMP),
Change Management Boards, user’' guides, TTPs, test plans, implementation guides, lists of materials, Technical Authorities, STIG, system
architectures, functional requirements, RMF Assess and Authorize.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
● Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: DoD 8570.1-M Certification: IAT Level II Certification, Computing Environment Certification
● Security Clearance Level: Secret
● Required Skills and AbilitiesVMWare, Microsoft, Cisco, Juniper, and Brocade IP data networks equipment. DoD security hardening,
collection and assessment tools (STIGs, ACAS SCAP, Nessus, etc.) and experience with security architectures, firewalls and network access.
● Preferred Skills: Cisco Prime Infrastructure v3.8.1, Cisco ACS v5.5.046, Cisco ISE 2.6, Juniper JUNOS Space Network Management
Platform v19.4, VMware ESXi v6.5, VMware vCenter, VMware vSphere, RedHat OS.
● Location: On Customer Site

The likely salary range for this position is $99,549 - $117,300. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
