As a **Director of Materials Management** here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the success of the materials management organization and function. Your primary objectives will include optimizing supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support our production schedules.
You will report directly to the **VP S&OE,** and you’ll work out of our **Mason, Ohio** location on a **Hybrid** work schedule.
In this role, you will impact and improve the supply chain planning and execution process within the IGS business. Your strategic oversight ensures a streamlined and efficient supply chain, minimizing costs and maximizing resource utilization. Your ability to optimize inventory levels and establish effective procurement strategies directly impacts the company's bottom line by reducing operational expenses and ensuring a constant flow of materials for production.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Develop and ensure the success of comprehensive materials management strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.
+ Oversee production scheduling, material kitting, material handling, shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand production schedules, forecast demand, and establish effective procurement plans.
**YOU MUST HAVE**
+ 10+ years of experience in manufacturing environment with a focus in materials management, scheduling, logistics, with a track record of success in optimizing supply chain processes.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
+ Proficiency in materials management software and ERP systems specifically Oracle.
+ Experience in production scheduling and inventory control.
