We have an opportunity for a Field Service Supervisor to join our Industrial Automation team at Honeywell, in Sines, Portugal, where you will be responsible for oversees Lifecycle Support Services, ensuring that all industrial service delivery processes are executed efficiently and meet customer satisfaction. The supervisor leads a team of field service technicians, coordinates service activities, manages schedules, and ensures compliance with all safety and operational standards.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
1. **Team Leadership:** Recruit, train, and manage field service technicians while fostering a culture of safety, performance, and continuous development.
2. **Service Operations:** Oversee daily service scheduling, performance tracking, and ensure operations meet company standards and compliance requirements.
3. **Customer Relations:** Act as the main customer contact, resolving issues and developing tailored service solutions to boost satisfaction and retention.
4. **Technical Support:** Provide expert guidance on complex service issues and coordinate technical training to upskill the team.
5. **Performance & Reporting:** Implement SOPs, monitor KPIs, and deliver regular performance reports to inform strategic decisions.
6. **Budget & Financial Management:** Manage budgets, control costs, and provide forecasts and financial updates to the FSM.
7. **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Align with sales and support teams to drive growth and business objectives, programs, and sales planning initiatives. Provide information for Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP)
8. **Compliance & Safety:** Ensure all activities follow safety and regulatory standards through audits and continuous oversight.
**KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ 6+ years in field service leadership or management
+ Bachelor’s in Engineering, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
+ Strong technical background in industrial or tech services
+ Proven leadership, communication, and analytical skills
+ Experience with P&L, service KPIs, and reporting
+ Fluent in Portuguese and English
+ Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer locations when required as the role demands flexibility to address urgent service needs and the ability to coordinate a variety of tasks simultaneously.
**Preferred:**
+ Experience with service contracts and tools (LSS field)
+ Customer-focused, with strong interpersonal skills
+ Proficient in service management software
+ Knowledge of Honeywell’s service portfolio
+ Master’s in Engineering, Business, or related field
+ Budget and financial management experience
