**Why Mayo Clinic:**
The Development Shared Services (DSS) Section of the Enterprise Technology Services Division of Mayo Clinic is seeking an experienced full-stack developer, to join our team through a limited tenureSenior Analyst / Programmer position. You would work on an Agile Scrum team to design, develop, and hand-off software project deliverables. You would design and develop user interfaces, back-end web services, and database software, in addition to automated tests. See details below.
Collaborates with team, stakeholders, and others to understand issues/problems and implement sound technical solutions taking into consideration; balancing workloads, skill sets, technical knowledge, and criticality of the tasks. Responsible and accountable for the on-time completion of tasks and projects, demonstrating a commitment to meet established deadlines and priorities.
**Required Skills or Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar field
+ Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly
+ Some experience with functional programming
+ Some experience developing server-side RESTful web services
+ Some experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, or Cosmos DB
+ Some experience designing, developing, and implementing automated unit and functional tests
+ Some experience in an Agile / Scrum or Kanban development environment(s)
+ Willingness to adapt to technology stack(s) called out by project needs
+ Demonstrated desire and ability for continuous learning
**Preferred Skills or Experience:**

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience, including 1 year demonstrated technical experience;
Or, Associate’s degree and 7 years’ experience, including 1 year demonstrated technical experience.

Applies effective system design principles and software development methodologies. Demonstrated ability to multi-task among multiple complex assigned tasks/projects. Evidence of strong communication, meeting management, and organizational skills and ability to adjust the message as appropriate to the audiences of varying technical capabilities. Evidence of project management skills. Possesses an objective and positive attitude with all tasks and projects. Possesses a high level of project and deliverable consistency through demonstrated repeatable and reliable performance. Evidence of ability to take initiative and proactive on starting tasks and assignments and ability to work independently. Experience working in healthcare technology. Exposure to managing both custom developed and vendor-supplied applications. Masters degree in applicable field preferred.
Required education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The salary range every 2 weeks is approx. $3,171 -$4,439 based on a full-time position.

This is a limited tenure position that has been approved for the posted assignment duration. Limited Tenure (LT) means that if you are offered the position and accept it:
- You will be categorized as a regular employee during the tenure, but employment will be terminated on the established end date.
- You committed to stay in this position until the end of the tenure (September 2023) before you become eligible to transfer to another position.
- After the completion of the limited tenure assignment, it is your responsibility to secure another role within Mayo through the job vacancy process or employment will be ended upon the completion of the limited tenure assignment.
- Limited Tenure classified staff are not eligible for internally posted IT jobs (or for work unit only posted); however may be eligible for other Limited Tenure IT (Information Technology) positions, or other IT positions posted externally or other Non-IT opportunities.
Possible on-call rotation
This vacancy may be open to full time telework candidates within the U.S./ reasonable travel to a Mayo facility if ever a business need/ meeting or client-facing. Mayo Clinic has facilities in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Florida.
