**Your Key Responsibilities**

+ Organizing and maintaining a digital file database for each project using Bentley Projectwise software.

+ Facilitating and ensuring the quality of the drawings and graphic work produced for the team.

+ Communicating with other team members during the 3D model and plan production.

+ Understanding Projectwise file structures and modifications to files for exchanges with other team members.

+ Creating and understanding custom templates using MicroStation software

+ Ensure CAD standards and styles, quality assurance and quality control procedures are followed during drawing planning and production.

+ Experience with civil roadway, utility or rail projects is required.

+ Proficiency in either AutoCAD Civil 3D/REVIT or Microstation (Bentley training will be provided if required).

The C&S Facilities Group is seeking a Structural Designer/Drafter to join our team in our Phoenix or Orlando office. This is a great opportunity for an individual to help grow our facilities practice.

The Structural Designer will be responsible for assisting in delivery of structural engineering services in a multitude of markets including healthcare, higher education, entertainment/hospitality, government, aviation, and industrial projects across the United States.

**Position Responsibilities**

+ Create detailed structural models and designs using Revit software

+ Collaborate with and assist structural engineers to develop and refine project construction documents including plans, elevations, sections, and details necessary for each project

+ Coordinates with the other design disciplines (Architects and MEP engineers) in the delivery of structural designs

+ Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project success

+ Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations. Familiarity with building codes and engineering design requirements is preferred

Job Title: CAD DrafterJob Description

State seal makes all sorts of Seals for semiconductor, aerospace, and manufacturing equipment. Their client will send them a seal and then the CAD Technician will scan the seal into the computer (AutoCAD). The CAD Technician will then clean up the drawing, smoothing out edges and ensuring the diameter and measurements are correct and in line with the product sent. After the schematic is cleaned up, the CAD Technician will upload the file into a DX File. The department head will coordinate and execute the creation of CAD files for finished parts, assist in the CAD work for fabrication of tools, fixtures, and other components as required by various groups. Activity also requires the control of all engineering drawings created in a fashion that meets requirements for Document Control.

**Summary:** Exercises discretion and judgment, creates model drawings and detailed construction drawings for homes. Performs calculations and analysis to support designs by performing the following duties.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Creates designs from rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from Sales and customers.

+ Drafts detailed construction drawings and installations such as walls, roofs, floors, plumbing, water, electrical, cabinets, gas lines, duct prints, foundations elevations, etc.

+ Uses computer assisted design (CAD) equipment and software to create detail drawings.

+ Drafts detailed construction drawings of houses and installations such as walls, roofs, floors, plumbing, potable water, electrical, cabinets, gas lines, duct prints, pier blocking, elevations, etc.

+ Drafts limited approvals and submits to sales and third-party agencies.

+ Must be familiar with commercial & residential building codes in the US.

+ Confers with Production and Quality Control staff to resolve design details or problems.

+ Lays out, redesigns, and modifies home arrangement, and interconnections components and systems.

+ Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.

+ Shows dimensions, material to be used, and other information necessary to make detailed drawing clear and complete.

+ Generates calculations for analysis of selected designs using approved software.

+ Submits drawings to third party agencies for approval.

**Education and/or Experience:**

Associates degree from a two-year college or technical school which includes advance training in AutoCAD or two to five years' work experience using the AutoCAD software; or equivalent combination of education and training.
