Full Job Description
The Design and Technical Sales Engineer contributes to the success of The Zippertubing Co. by providing innovative solutions to our customers. This position will interact directly with clients, identifying, developing, and testing products based on customer and business needs. Key responsibilities include product design, creation of prototypes, and transition of prototypes to production. This position will require knowledge of materials, creation of 3D models for products via CAD (SolidWorks preferred), and associated print drawings, tooling design, and documentation for customer and production use.
Major Tasks, Accountabilities, and Key Responsibilities:
Interface with customers to identify requirements and translate them into custom solutions.
Provide technical support and effectively communicate technical information to our customers.
Work with sales and marketing teams to create a clear understanding of our engineered solutions so they can best market and sell our products.
Develop product tooling, fixtures, jigs, and manufacturing efficiency aids.
Maintain project completion status for all active projects.
Create and modify Engineering documentation such as material specifications, drawings, 3D models, operating procedures, and reports.Qualifications/Requirements
BS in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university is required.
3+ years’ experience in engineering design or technical sales.
Proficient in CAD, SolidWorks preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
Shown ability to excel in a results-oriented, challenging environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the DTE will perform most of the work in a multi-occupied office environment, with face-to-face customer interactions, and some work is performed on the production floor, near vibrating loud equipment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. At times the employee may be exposed to airborne particulates, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations on the production floor. The noise level can be loud at times.This role is partially sedentary; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a step ladder as necessary during their shift. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The position involves sitting, talking, hearing, climbing stairs, using the elevator, and walking throughout the 8-10-hour shift. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate tools, drafting instruments, computers, printers, and various equipment.

Job Description:
The Sr Quality Manager will be responsible for providing Quality leadership and managing QA teams that support multiple business unit, multiple technologies: IC’s, discrete and system/module product lines. Focus will be on growing and developing a team, processes, systems and suppliers to expand Microchip’s product offering and support for the Aerospace and Defense market.

Essential duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Aerospace and Defense leadership and process development and integration:
Working across the organization to establishing and structure Quality Management systems and processes to support Aerospace and Defense products and Systems and Module products.
Customer Quality: Coordinating the reach out to customers to understand their requirements and issues, establish joint improvement initiatives. Collect customer feedback and work with the quality team to implement improvements.
Agency Management: Support ongoing communications with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)
