The Senior Project Engineer, Electrical guides the electrical technical design of projects as subject matter expert, mentor, and resource to the technical team. Position delegates, leads, and directs work of Project Engineers and Designers. + Assist with and/or perform the following as delegated by the assigned Project Manager:

+ Manage contractual agreements with owners, contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, field staff, and within RKMI’s management system.

+ Ensure daily corporate documentation is completed and up to date, including time cards, daily reports, additional work authorizations, receiving documents, as-built drawings, etc

+ Coordinate timely completion and thorough buy-out procedures on materials and equipment, in conjunction with the superintendent and purchasing department, with emphasis on maintaining all buy-outs under the established budget.

+ Buy-out, negotiate and issue all lower-tier subcontract(s), with emphasis on complete scopes in compliance with the contract documents and within the established budget.

+ Responsible for proper/timely processing of shop drawings, product submittals, operation and maintenance manuals, and recording all as-built drawings.

+ Coordinate and track take-off orders, procurement and release of change orders items with the purchasing department and superintendent(s).

+ Provide forecasted estimate on costs required for completion of project, outstanding extra work total costs, and amount that has been performed but un-billed, encountered busts in the bid, and pending claims.

+ Responsible for job closeout being performed in proper and efficient manner and keeping the project manager and vice president of operation informed of closeout status.

+ Optimize the profitability of the company by demonstrating the ability of a decision maker with reliable and mature judgment.

The Process Engineer II, under the direction of the designated Plant Manager, is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. The Process Engineer II will work closely with cross functional teams to identify improvements, troubleshoot issues, support production operations, and assist in the design and implementation of new equipment and processes.

You will have the opportunity to:

+ Comply with, support, and provide limited technical input to all EH&S and quality programs, trainings, and policies while operating in a safe, honest, and ethical manner

+ Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes and assist in the design, development and implementation of new processes and equipment

+ Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot process-related issues. Collaborate with other engineers for complaint resolution activities; implement corrective and preventive actions when applicable

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and engineering

+ Determine critical process metrics, monitor them on a regular basis, and provide direction in the collection and interpretation of metric data

+ Maintain open and frequent communications with operators and other engineers about equipment status and collaborate on improvement initiatives

+ Collaborate with other engineers on complaint resolution activities including root cause analysis and corrective and preventative actions for any complaints in the assigned area. When applicable, implement corrective and preventative actions

Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

**What You Will Do**

+ Participates as a team member to perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and assist in the identification and implementation of corrective actions or technologies.

+ Consider cost impact for recommended action plans for correcting downtime issues on installed equipment.
