You will have ownership for Integrated Systems Safety Assessment of the Next Generation Avionics (NGA) ensuring safety decisions and requirements are created to satisfy the system fault hazard assessment and correctly allocated to Anthem subsystems. You will work across multiple Integrated Product Team disciplines and with functional leaders across the Platforms COE to ensure those allocations are satisfied.

**YOU MUST HAVE**

-8+ years of engineering experience

As a Senior System Safety Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Leading one or more MIL-STD-882E compliant system safety programs

Performing MIL-STD-882E System Safety Program tasks and analyses, or customer’s approved equivalent

Coordinating with customer safety representatives to gain safety approval from appropriate Safety Review Board authorities

Working across all integrated product teams and lines to properly eliminate hazards or provide effective controls.
