Manufacturing Design Engineers Provide technical manufacturing support to a program from the early development phases through transition to production. They participate in manufacturing and test requirements development, design for manufacturing activities, manufacturing process development and factory capabilities analysis to ensure factory readiness and improve product producibility. They leverage technical knowledge of manufacturing capabilities, product technologies, factory requirements and business processes to establish and execute the manufacturing plan and influence technical program decisions to support the overall program value stream. This role will be in support of the Tomahawk portfolio development programs. This will include but is not limited to: Transition to production activities, coordination of and leading production Readiness/Gate 10 Review(s), Support Delta PRR activities, interface with program managers and operations managers, Designing and implementing new manufacturing processes, new tooling development, and overall development build support.
What you will do
+ Lead manufacturing and producibility authority within the program while a pplying manufacturing engineering skillsets across the extended value stream to resolve constraints and improve process and product designs
+ Actively pursue process and procedural changes to ensure that objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, and quality are met
+ Design, control, and improve the producibility of products through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team while identifying and resolving constraints across the program
+ Provide technical input and peer review to engineering designs and design changes
+ Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, tool, and fixture designs
+ This will be an onsite role in our Tucson, AZ
Qualifications You Must Have
+ Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
+ Experience within a manufacturing environment participating in manufacturing and test requirements development
+ Experience designing manufacturing activities, manufacturing process development and factory capabilities analysis to ensure factory readiness and improve product producibility

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. This is a great opportunity to join us in an entry position at P1 level. The candidate will be joining the Advanced Visualization & Proposal Services (AVPS) team as the technologist support the Immersive Design Center (IDC) in Tucson, Arizona. The team is responsible for supporting Advanced Visualization value streams across the entire product lifecycle, from capture to sustainment. The IDC and its sister facilities in Andover and Huntsville are highly advanced visualization centers that make use of large format screens, 3D technologies, and mixed reality devices. The candidate will be the primary technical expert on all equipment in the IDC Tucson facility and will also have opportunities to support engagements with high level internal and external customers. They will help drive Advanced Visualization adoption and utilization across the enterprise. The position is onsite. The successful candidate will be required to report daily to the Immersive Design Center at the Raytheon Airport facility in Tucson, AZ. Position is relocation eligible for applicants who meet our eligibility requirements to receive relocation support.
What you Will Do:
+ Provide overall technical management of all advanced visualization hardware and software to include video, audio, compute, AR/VR headsets, and accessories
+ Ensure advanced visualization system readiness, executing system upgrades, and driving compliance
+ Act as the prime point of contact for IT-related issues, including networking, security, hardware maintenance, infrastructure, and tools
+ Support events with technical support and preparation of all advanced visualization equipment (video, audio, compute, headsets, etc) to include content loading, testing, and staging
+ Collaboration with partner-center technologist on initiatives, including new technology (HW and SW) testing, and implementation

Serve as the Owner's representative to provide technical guidance and issue resolution.
Lead Engineer who defines design criteria, lead scope definition, and justification and develop design concepts.
Oversee the completion of positioning, programming, and detailed design.
Work with estimators to ensure costs are captured and project budgets are met.
Ensure implementation of the change control process to improve standards and drive innovative solutions.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum qualifications:
The candidate must possess one of the following:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related field with 4+ years of experience in project management in design or construction
Or Master's degree in an Engineering related field with 3+ years of experience in project management in design or construction.Preferred qualification
Experience in Technical writing.
Focus on industrial, semiconductor, high-tech, and cleanroom projects.
