Foundry Design Automation Software Engineer

**Job Description:**
Foundry Services will be differentiated from other foundries with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe, and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can choose from, including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP's, along with Arm and RISC-V ecosystem IP's.
Foundry Services will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions, using industry standard design packages.
The Foundry Design Automation Software Engineer will work closely with Intel foundry customers on advanced packaging technologies to define, develop, and implement design tools, flows, automation and methodologies for system co-design, design implementation, and verification. Will serve as the technical expert on design tools as well as consult on design and implementation issues. Utilizes modern software development methodologies, programming languages, domain knowledge, and secure coding practices to design, develop, debug, and/or validate algorithms, software tools, and systems that enable our internal/external engineering partners to design/manufacture intel silicon, integrate Intel silicon and/or software into impactful products.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related degrees in computer engineering, software development, software engineering or in a STEM related field of study with 3+ years of experience.

Join our Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) team, a branch of engineering that deals with mitigating risks associated with new infrastructure design and construction. We work closely with engineers and utility owners to help identify utility conflicts using an array of technologies, including electromagnetic line locators, ground penetrating radar, GPS, conventional survey and vacuum excavation. Our work requires a high level of precision and technical ability.
Responsibilities
+ Work with a team of talented individuals to help tackle a wide variety of projects.
+ Read and interpret utility records, as-built and survey drawings and highway design plans.
+ Designate existing utilities using electromagnetic and geophysical technologies.
+ Operate and drive a vacuum excavation truck and perform test holes to expose utilities.
+ Utilize appropriate maintenance of traffic.
+ Call “One-Call” tickets.
+ Coordinate survey work in relation with SUE.
+ Supervise activities of field crew.
+ Train junior crew members.
+ Represent Colliers Engineering & Design in the field and communicate/coordinate with utility companies.
Qualifications
+ Minimum 2 year experience in using electromagnetic and geophysical designating technologies.
+ 5+ years of experience preferred.
+ Experience with VAC Truck preferred.
+ Must be able to quickly grasp new technologies.
+ Should have basic computer skills and be able to learn and understand new software.
+ Need to have a high level of reading comprehension and communication skills.
