**The Role**

This role is responsible for serving as a critical business leader for a comprehensive portfolio of products. The selected candidate will establish relationships with key leaders from across the business and with external partners critical to the success of programs, including but not limited to direct interaction with individual contributors, manager, director, and vice president leadership.

As a Sr. Lead, the position requires acting as a team lead for one or more Product Development Manager resources, driving prioritization across the portfolios and managing VP and above level escalations. Identifies product improvement opportunities, working collaboratively with stakeholders to define enhancements to improve quality, gain efficiency and reduce the cost of existing products. Acts proactively in solving challenges impacting the progress or success of a product development initiative. Leads efforts to prioritize and accelerate time to market. Relies on experience, judgment, and high-level business relationships to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

+ **Communication** : Demonstrates superior verbal and written communication skills and drafts communication plan specific for each product development initiative. Applies discipline in communicating program status proactively and frequently based on criticality of each project. Runs timely and structured meetings that include agendas, meeting notes, and action items. Exhibits solid presentation skills, utilizing appropriate tools to help get the message across. Program Management: Program management is the essence of their job responsibilities. Define and actively drive that project per agreed-upon development and release plan. Administer product development process from Concept through Launch and Warranty. Conduct project scoping and impact assessment. Lead day-to- day project delivery activities. **POSITION SUMMARY**

This position performs waived and non-waived tests as defined by CLIA ‘88 in an accurate and timely manner with supervision. Assists with department compliance with all pertinent laboratory accrediting agencies and regulatory requirements (e.g., CLIA ’88, JCAHO, CAP, OSHA). Personnel report to department supervisor. May be responsible for the collection, receipt, and processing of biological specimens into the laboratory.

1. Performs testing in an accurate and timely manner according to established policies and performance standards with a knowledge level determined for that testing. Responsible for startup, calibration and accuracy of procedures and instrumentation. Demonstrates comprehension of theory and clinical relevance of testing. Demonstrates problem resolution and decision-making skills for routine operational and technical problems. 4. Self-directed and motivated to contribute to projects identified by the supervisor. Seeks out opportunities to identify projects relating to department needs. Completes all required training modules.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides general operational supervision under the direction of the director/manager to assigned personnel. Responsible for organizing, directing and controlling workflow aspects of the section in order to improves processes to provide high quality and cost effective services.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Hires, trains and conducts performance evaluations, and supervises the workflow for designated staff. This includes initiating promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions. Provides leadership, coaching, recognition, and staff development. Establishes priorities, workloads, schedules, controls, work procedures and day-to-day problem resolution and trouble shooting utilizing Six Sigma and Lean concepts, tools and methodology in the department

2. Schedules and manages the use of labor and resources within budgetary guidelines. Manages waste reduction and establishes priorities, workloads, controls and work procedures, as well as determines resources needed for expense reduction. Prepares and/or provides input for the department budget.

3. Under the direction of management, ensures area(s) of responsibility are maintained in accreditation with College of American Pathologists (CAP), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and licensing for Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) for patient care and nursing. Also ensures laboratory is compliant with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

4. Participates and may lead task forces to plan, implement, and coordinate activities to maximize service quality, compliance effectiveness and efficiency. Develops and monitors performance matrix to ensure quality patient care.

5. Serves as a resource and communication liaison by facilitating timely and accurate dissemination of information within the organization and to parent partners.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
• Four (4) years’ training and experience in high-complexity testing in the respective specialty.

POSITION SUMMARY
This is position is responsible for the receipt of biological specimens into the department, preparation of samples for analytical testing, and performing waived testing. This position reports to department supervisor, and may take direction from higher level technical personnel. This position assists the coordinator and supervisor in the functional operation of the histology section; insuring the continuity of daily workflow and prioritization of work, training of new employees as well as the maintenance and reporting of quality control and quality assurance systems and procedure manuals, solving technical problems, and research and development activities. This position is also responsible for performing all essential functions as defined by the department. In addition, performs waived and moderately complex tests as defined by CLIA ‘88 in an accurate and timely manner. This position may perform highly complex testing as defined by CLIA ’88 under general supervision. Also, under general supervision, performs as a grossing processor taking direction from a Certified Pathologist Assistant. Receives, examines and processes Pathology specimens. In the absence of the supervisor or coordinator, this position provides overview support for the Anatomic pathology section. Performs all functions of AP Laboratory Technician. Also, may train employees on basic entry level tasks, performs QC/QA duties and serves as a resource.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires an Associate's degree and be eligible for ASCP HT registry OR ASCP HT registry OR a Bachelor’s degree with Anatomic Pathology departmental-specific certification documentation within 6 months of hire date.
- Must be willing to perform/cross train in all areas of the Anatomic Pathology section and have demonstrated competency in all aspects of work.
- Must have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.

This position is primarily located at our teaching hospital, Banner University Medical Center Tucson hospital. The cytologist provides Rapid On-Site Evaluation (ROSE)/Adequacy assessment for fine needle aspiration procedures covering several busy hospital departments, in rotation with other cytologists (e.g., EBUS, ENB, Robot) while screening NGYN and FNA and will also perform digital cytology using the newly approved Hologic technology to streamline the review of GYN samples. In addition to this cutting edge work, our cytologists have the opportunity to teach pathology to residents rotating through the department! This is a wholly engaging and rewarding opportunity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of cytotechnology program from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) school. ASCP certification or eligible required.
- Students may be hired at the job title equivalent of a future Cytotechnologist under the following conditions: Student is enrolled in a cytotechnology program at CAAHEP school with a completion date within six (6) months of hire. Student must pass the ASCP Board Certification at the first opportunity but no later than 3 months after program completion
- A Bachelor’s degree is required for individuals registered by the ASCP after September 1, 1994.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills required.
- This position requires attaining 90% on an internal proficiency test at the time of interview.
- This position requires passing annually the required CAP-PT (or approved alternative by CLIA).
- This position requires maintaining 80% proficiency on quarterly GYN CAP mailings as well as 24 continuing education credits each year.

This hospital phlebotomy position will help to provide excellent patient diagnostic care for our patients most in need of critical care.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position may be located within a Hospital Facility, Patient Service Center (PSC), In Office Phlebotomy (IOP) or Mobile Diagnostic Services (MDS). This position may be responsible to provide coverage at multiple locations. This position is responsible for the collection and receipt of biological specimens into the department, their proper entry into the company’s computer system, the preparation of samples for analytical testing and/or the distribution of these specimens to the proper analytical area. This includes responsibility for pre and post aspects of analytical testing. This position will also perform specified analytical testing as assigned. Follows the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.
Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum age requirement of 18.
• High School diploma or equivalent may be required dependent on state regulatory requirements.
• Basic knowledge of department resource materials.
• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Position may require DHS Fingerprinting Certification or the ability to obtain fingerprint certification.
• Dependent on department/location, candidate must possess a valid state driver's license in the state of employment and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
• Float positions require travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and required to cover at mobile phlebotomy facilities/in-office phlebotomy locations with minimal notice. Must be flexible and available based on staffing requirements, weekends, holidays and overtime. May be required to work occasional on-call duties weekends, evenings and early AM.
• Progression through career ladder II-IV is subject to completion of career ladder requirements.
