    POSITION DESCRIPTION
    This Lead Trainer position offers a unique opportunity to shape the success of a brand-new Burn Boot Camp location. As a foundational member of the team, this is a opportunity to create a thriving fitness community from the ground up.
    As a Burn Boot Camp Lead Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic, high-energy group workouts tailored to members of all fitness levels. Your primary focus is helping members achieve their health and fitness goals by pushing them beyond their comfort zones, building confidence, and showing them their true potential. This is achieved through engaging group workouts, conducting one-on-one goal-setting meetings, and providing nutrition guidance to help members embrace Burn Boot Camp’s holistic approach to mindset, nutrition, and fitness.
    The Lead Trainer is responsible for driving membership sales and retention while embodying confidence, energy, and approachability. A passionate Burn enthusiast, the ideal candidate is eager to master the Burn Sales process and grow the membership base. They will also hire, train, and manage a team of trainers to deliver consistent excellence in the member experience, ensuring sustained growth and retention.
    Accountability
    • Pre-opening
    o Immerse into learning the Burn fitness product and sales process, attend and pass Burn University at Burn HQ
    o Assist with the execution of the marketing plan including promoting burns at community events, parks, farmers markets and schools.
    o Consistently achieve established lead goals by engaging with people, catching their interest and collecting contact information to keep them engaged with Burn until the location opens.
    o Promote and sell foundational memberships to leads. Our goal is to sell 100 foundational memberships before the gym opens.
    • Fitness Product Execution
    o Train workouts (45-minute camps consisting of personal training in a group setting) tailored to various fitness levels, while adhering to Burn Boot Camp’s protocols
    o Promote and conduct focus meetings with members to increase commitment and assist members achieve goals
    o Follow the trainer Blue Carpet Experience before, during and after camp, every camp, every day.
    • Member Acquisition and Retention
    o Build membership by conducting pop up camps and attending community events to promote Burn
    o Responsible for overall membership sales and retention
    o Promote retail and nutrition products by wearing retail and promoting nutrition samples.
    • Leadership and management of training team
    o Onboard and train the support training team on the Blue Carpet Experience creating an environment of regular feedback and growth.
    o Create the trainers schedule to ensure all camp times are covered by adequate trainers.
    o Lead weekly trainer meetings.
    • Member Experience
    o Build relationships and create community within camps including shouting out member celebrations, executing member challenges, creating and post on social media members page, create and execute fitness components of community and member events.
    o The Lead Trainer is expected to attend camp and participate in the workout protocol.
    • Operational Execution
    o Maintain all gym equipment.
    o Complete set up and clean up for all camps.

    Job Description

    This is a full-time position for the assistant coaching and recruitment of Northern Arizona Track and Field's men's and women's distance runners with an emphasis on assisting with the men's program. Provides assistance in coaching Northern Arizona Track and Field's men's and women's distance runners while operating under NCAA Operating Bylaws. Assists with aspects of the program, which may include, recruitment, training and/or strength conditioning for athletic competition to ensure effective execution of game methods and techniques.

    Essential Physical Requirements Moderate physical activity.

    Coaching - 50%

    • Assist in the implementation of training for men's and women's distance runners with a focus on the men's program.
    • Supervise the academic program of student athletes and monitor eligibility, APR, and progress towards degree.
    • Assist in home meet management, which may include the coordination of officials, facility setup, and management of entries and schedule.
    • Promote a positive, successful philosophy to promote the educational welfare and sportsmanship of the student athlete.
    • Receive instruction and developmental guidance from senior coaching staff.
    • Travel to all away competitions within the Cross Country, Indoor, and Outdoor seasons.

    Recruiting - 40%

    • Identify and recruit potential student athletes who are ideal academic and athletic fit for the NAU program.
    • Create and implement recruiting system.
    • Travel for recruitment of perspective student-athletes.
    • Set up phone calls and conversations with perspective student-athletes.

    Administrative Duties - 5%

    • Assist coaching staff in administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Track and Field which may include team travel, equipment management, compliance documentation, and alumni outreach.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
    • 4-6 years of relevant experience.
    • Must possess current AZ Driver's License.

    Salary

    Salary range begins at $67,714. Annual salary commensurate with candidate's qualifications and related experience.

    FLSA Status

    This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and therefore will not earn overtime or compensatory time for additional time worked.
