Tutors

Under general supervision, provides instructional support assistance to residential students in reading, math, science and other core subject areas. Duties are categorized and monitored through the recommendations provided by the Academic Advisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
 Must possess at least 60 post-secondary semester hours or AA degree.
 Must have verifiable work experience of at least one year in academic tutoring.
 Must possess effective tutorial skills in an academic setting.
 Must be knowledgeable of academic skills; i.e., study skills, time management skills, and organizational skills.
 Must possess a functional knowledge of school credit guidelines.
 Must have verifiable work experience with tutoring high school students.
 Current certification in First Aid and CPR
 Valid Arizona driver’s license.
 Current Arizona and Navajo Nation motor vehicle driving record on file
 Must pass criminal background checks by state, federal and Navajo Nation
 As a minimum qualification, applicant's background checks must demonstrate successful, positive, multi-year employment and performance of duties at each of applicant's last 3 employment positions.
 Must be knowledgeable and familiar with Navajo language, culture and people.

The Child Care Cook, Food Specialist, is responsible for overall food preparation for the school’s enrolled children. This role should be able to adapt to menu changes and meet meal and snack schedules.

As a Food Specialist, you will be:

+ At home in the kitchen! Create home-style, nutritional meal plans in the boundaries of their school's menu and budget, as well as state and federal requirements. Prepare meals/snacks for children and staff and distribute food to the classrooms.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for a wide range of tasks that are essential to the smooth running of the Child Care Center. Administrative Assistants perform various routines including bookkeeping, clerical work, family communication, staff training and opening and closing the school. They will split time between administrative duties and assisting teachers and children in the classrooms.

Job Responsibilities:

+ Be Accountable! Ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards.

+ Be Responsible! Manage staff schedule and time off requests. Check child attendance and classroom ratios. Stay up to date on company offerings and ensure the school operates with the most up to date curriculum/program expectations.

+ Be Organized! Create and maintain all children and staff files.

+ Be Diligent! Receive, process, and follow up on monthly enrollments for billing. Run reports and maintain staff and children files.

+ Be Positive! Promote the positive image of the company and play a key role in making the company a provider of choice for the communities we serve. Greet new and existing families, prepare welcome packets, and assist with tours.

+ Be Team-oriented! Assist with the hiring process for new staff, including applicant follow-up, preparing materials for incoming staff and welcoming and mentoring new hires.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age

+ High School Diploma or equivalent, CDA or Associate degree preferred

+ Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.

+ Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

+ Knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting procedures and the preparation and maintenance of records is a plus.
