    The Associate Product Manager will assist in developing and implementing strategic and tactical initiatives for a key product and/or market segment on a global basis to help drive direction and growth. Demonstrates leadership within the Division Marketing department, takes an active role in day-to-day operations, and participates in product development activities for product and/or market segment responsibility.

    Essential / Key Job Responsibilities (including supervisory and/or fiscal):

    • Maintain/support a strong portfolio of products that support the strategic direction and grow the business.

    • Build relationship with and know key customers/distributors and major buying groups.

    • Take an active role on product development teams as leader or key participant.

    **Job Summary**

    Bard Peripheral Vascular (PV) is seeking to hire an Associate Product Manager to join our market-leading interventional oncology business in Boston. This individual will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of marketing plans across multiple product lines within the division. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in successfully launching products into new markets and growing existing ones. They will possess strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the clinical evidence supporting PV’s innovative technologies.

    **Responsibilities**

    + Launch and grow existing and new products through the development and implementation of marketing strategies and tactics.

    + Work closely with Sales and Marketing leaders to develop territory expansion and sales growth strategies.

    + Develop relationships with key opinion leaders and thought leaders in targeted territories.

    + Provide input and feedback on new product ideas based on customer insights gathered during market visits.

    + Manage all aspects of medical education including speaker training, symposia, advisory boards, webcasts, etc.

    + Work with cross functional teams such as Regulatory, Quality, Clinical Research, and Legal to drive new product approvals and label expansions.

    + Coordinate the logistics of national meetings and events ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency.

    + Collaborate with colleagues in other departments on cross-functional projects.

    + Lead and/or participate in short-term and long-term planning activities.

    + Provide regular updates and status reports to management team.

    **Qualifications**

    + Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s Degree preferred.

    + 2 years of relevant work experience preferred

    + Strong knowledge of vascular access devices and in stage renal disease is desirable but not essential.

    + Proven success in product launches and/or line extensions.

    + Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

    + Excellent communication skills.

    + Ability to travel up to 30% of time (domestic).

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
