    The GCU College of Nursing and Health Care Professions (https://www.gcu.edu/college-of-nursing-and-health-care-professions.php) has an opening for an Faculty - Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program Lead- Onsite. In this role, includes equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession.

    Schedule: Monday - Friday

    Location: GCU Main Campus at 3300 West Camelback Road, Phoenix, AZ.

    What You Will Do:

    + Assists in providing administrative leadership for the AGACNP Program and supervises faculty in designated program areas.

    + Ensures educational needs of the students and community are met.

    + Administers the program according to the mission, strategic plan, policies, procedures and agreements of the institution.

    + Ensures compliance with state and national accreditation standards.

    + Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, i.e. BON

    + Recruits faculty and provides a positive on-boarding experience.

    + Serves as liaison for GCU and other significant community stakeholders.

    + Ensures timely communication and information to all stakeholders.

    + Attends sessions to facilitate communication and problem resolution between students and the College of Nursing and Health Care Professions.

    + Communicates student issues to the appropriate University department for resolution.

    + Conducts follow-up call with University departments to ensure problem closure.

    + Facilitate and lead the on-campus clinical residencies

    + Assists with Curriculum revisions

    + Other duties as assigned.

    What You Will Have:

    + Master’s degree in a Nurse Practitioner specialty (FNP, AGACNP, and/or PMHNP)

    + Unencumbered, current RN Licensure in Arizona or a compact stat

    + Must hold and maintain active National Certification as an ACNP or AGACNP

    + Minimum of 2 years clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner

    + Minimum of 2 years work experience in a university setting.

    + Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students and preceptors.

    + Microsoft Office Suite skills required.

    + Must successfully pass a drug test.

    + Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

    Bonus:

    + Preferred Doctoral degree (DNP/PhD in nursing)

    + Preferred work experience with Advanced Practice Registered Nursing programs.

    + Prior management experience level preferred.

    **Responsibilities**

    **Mayo Clinic Arizona is seeking dedicated individuals to join our dynamic Blood & Marrow Transplant (BMT) team** . This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients undergoing hematology, transplant, and cellular therapy treatments. We’re looking for team players who are driven by excellence and a deep sense of empathy for patients and their families.

    **Position Highlights:**

    + Integral role in both the **Cellular Therapy Clinic** and **inpatient BMT unit**

    + **10–12 hour daytime shifts**

    + **Rotational schedule** including holidays and weekends

    + Potential future rotation to outpatient clinic or night coverage (not currently required)

    **Qualifications**

    **Acute Care Nurse Practitioner:** Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current AZ RN and APRN license and certification as an ACNP.

    **Physician Assistant:** Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the AZ State Board of Medical Practice.

    **Additional Qualifications:**

    Active BLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date required.
