    Specialized Training:

    Certification/Licensure:

    Laboratory Supervisor FT Days Position Summary:

    POSITION DUTIES:

    <p style="font-family: Arial">Responsible for the collections of blood specimens ensuring patient safety and consistency with age-specific considerations for all patients, neonates, infants, adolescents, adults and geriatrics, as well as employees.<br />
    Performs clerical functions, processing duties, and training of students and employees.<br />
    Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.<br />
    Other related duties as assigned.</p>

    Major Responsibilities of a Medical Assistant/ Phlebotomist/ EMT/ Paramedic:

    + Ability to learn and perform ABI, Osteoporosis Risk Assessment, Atrial Fibrillation, and blood test screenings in accordance with the company's protocols and state guidelines, and in a proficient and timely manner

    + Educate participants, review medical history and risk factors, and make suggestions for medically appropriate services

    + Provide our customers with an excellent bedside manner

    What you'll need to be successful:

    + Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic graduate from a formal medical training program.

    + 1+ years of clinical experience preferred, and with direct patient interaction and/or customer service

    + Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to educate participants on products and services

    + Passion to create and maintain a positive environment for fellow team members and customers throughout screening events

    Requirements of a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic:

    + Valid driver's license and cleared driving record

    + Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment hiring requirements such as drug screen and background check
