**Overview**
**Graham Packaging Company is looking for an Industrial Electrician based in Tolleson, AZ. This opening is for 1ST SHIFT, which operates during the hours of 6 am - 2 pm.**
Maintenance Electricians are responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of systems using electrical, mechanical and processing skills. The Maintenance Electrician will perform preventative and reactive maintenance on all production equipment and building. The primary duties of a Maintenance Electrician include:
+ Understands, follows and enforces all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices.
+ Understands, follows and enforces all established policies, procedures and recognized practices.
+ Focus on producing quality product by monitoring quality levels and adjust the manufacturing processes to ensure product integrity.
+ Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
+ Installs, examines, replaces or repairs electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and/or other electrical components.
+ Tests electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
+ Maintains, repairs, installs and tests switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors.
+ Maintains, repairs, tests and installs electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
+ Troubleshoots, maintains and repairs industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.
+ Conducts preventive maintenance programs and keeps accurate maintenance records.
+ May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices as required.
+ Assist and train production employees in proper operation and maintenance of machinery.
+ Limited travel may be required.
**Qualifications**
Two year Associate Degree in electrical related field is a plus. A minimum of five years industrial maintenance electrician experience preferred.
Maintenance Electricians are required to interact with other managers, employees, vendors, and customers. Therefore, the following skills and proficiencies are also essential requirements of the position:

+ Computer usage and typing skills are essential.

**Compensation Statement**
The expected salary range for the position described in this posting is made in accordance with the legal mandates of certain jurisdictions within the United States. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience.

**Where You Will Work **
In operation since 2007, Safford operations is a zero-discharge facility and one of the most sustainable mines in the United States. The operation’s commitment to utilizing advanced technologies and sustainable practices strongly emphasizes safety and environmental stewardship. **What You Will Do**
+ Removal, repair and installation of electrical components, electrical systems, analysis and diagnosis, advanced troubleshooting and systems/process optimization; may mentor or train other electrical workers
+ Safe completion of routine and non-routine repairs and construction
+ Perform preventative maintenance including installation, repair and troubleshooting of industrical electrical and/or instrumentation equipment (i.e. substations, power distribution systems, switchgear motors, motor controls, systems and components, process controls, instrumentation and pneumatic equipment)
+ Must have strong knowledge in the maintenance and troubleshooting of AC/DC drives, PLCs, overhead cranes, management control systems, calibration of field transmitters/transducers and weigh scales, and low and medium voltage equipment
+ Ability to perform installations and renovations compliant with regulatory agency standards
+ Follow Standard Operating Procedues (SOP) and work area instructions, participate in safety and environmental activities, and use plant and equipment correctly at all times
**What You Bring To Freeport**
+ Completion of an approved Certified Electronics, Electrical and/or Instrumentation Program, **OR**
+ Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Industrial Electrical and/or Instrumentation repair and maintenance, **OR**
+ Associate's degree or Trade School Certification in a related field **and ** two (2) years of experience in Industrial Electrical and/or Instrumentation repair and maintenance
+ Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of electrical circuits and connected equipment; this includes the ability to read, understand and apply information from technical manuals, prints, and schematics for trouble shooting and repair
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills to satisfy training, safety, and electronic message transmission policies of the company
+ Must have minimum personal tools as described by the department tool list or be able to obtain them within 90 days of hire date

AJourneyman Electricianwill:
