+ Safety operation of production equipment related to filling, processing and sterilizing equipment and sampling responsibilities.
+ Monitors charts and performs tests to assure sterility.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Mainline Trackhoe Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a CAT excavator to install storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effectively, skillfully, safely, and accurately operates varies heavy construction equipment
Completes proper equipment inspections prior to use to ensure that it is in proper operating condition
Meet precise standards to excavate line and grade for mainline waterline
Excavates around existing utilities, to install Mainline and backfill piping
Must have knowledge of pothole procedure, pipeline and grade compaction requirements
Inspecting equipment for deficiencies, such as tires, lights, brakes, fuses and fluid levels, and submits report indicating equipment condition.
Ensure trench is excavated to the proper depth/grade
Be aware of proper rigging of pipe, manhole barrels, etc. and ensure safe work procedures are followed during the lowering of materials into the excavation.
