Service Engineers will diagnose and remedy faults, perform preventative maintenance and also install and commission products.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting high vacuum pumps, abatement, gas and chemical delivery systems in assigned territory.
Able to understand detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Able to use PM/Installation checklists correctly to carry out routine preventative maintenance and base level mechanical and electrical installation of Edwards systems.
Able to use company and customer part systems for parts ordering
Understands the use of emergency shut off switches, safety interlocks and valves.

Skills:

EquipmentShare is looking for a hands-on Construction Project Manager that has a builder’s mentality.
About you:
You started your career in a trade such as electrician, carpenter, roofing, plumber, etc. and over time, advanced to overseeing construction projects. Since then, you have grown to oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously within commercial or industrial construction; ideally across multiple states.
The Construction Project Manager duties include coordinating construction project resources and tracking project progress against established timelines and schedules. You will ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to specification, and act as a liaison between the client and project team members regarding changes or problems. You will select, negotiate with, and coordinate the work of vendors, contractors, or subcontractors and be responsible for material management and deliver scheduling tasks in support of assigned projects. You will track project progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators and prepare and deliver reports to stakeholders. Lastly, you are willing and able to be hands-on with the construction on your job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Providing direction to general contractors, architects, and vendors in order to complete projects on time and within contract requirements
+ Review construction contract and pay requests in accordance with the details contract and pay application checklists
+ Monitor deliverables of developments and landlord contractors to ensure compliance with EquipmentShare’s building requirements and timelines
+ Thoroughly review, audit, and take action on errors in all hard copy documentation as well as electronic reporting
+ Responsible for change order requests including reviewing, negotiation and approving all changes
+ Reviewer of new store plans including civil, architectural, engineering, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.
+ Ensure EquipmentShare’s locations are designed effectively per a quarterly audit of Standard Criteria Plans
+ Prepare bid information for EquipmentShare’s locations including standard invitation to bid form, applicable addendums, bid books, and relevant documentation
+ Survey existing building and prepare scope of work including necessary inspections
+ Responsible for sourcing new EquipmentShare locations within designated Region
+ Scope and budget for remodels of existing building to be converted into new EquipmentShare locations
+ Participate in weekly cross functional meetings to continuously assess cost, efficiency, and design reviews for all construction
+ Process closeout checklist documentation, and manage the 11 month warranty process for all retrofit projects
+ Store and file all important materials in the project filing system and send final plans to external vendors for data backup post projects
About you:
+ Must have 15+ years of construction experience
+ Must have 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects at a time within the commercial and/or industrial construction industry
+ Experience managing multiple construction projects over 1 million
+ Must have experience dealing with steel frame buildings
+ Proficient in Google sheets and construction management software
+ Strong skills in negotiation, communication, problem solving, and time management
+ Ability to effectively work cross functionally
+ Strong prioritization, time management and organizational skills
+ Holds a valid driver’s license and has an excellent driving record
+ Ability to be hands-on at your construction sites.
+ Ability to travel 75% of the time

What part will you play?
The Associate Installation Technician (AIT) is an entry level position responsible for performing a wide variety of installation duties on technology projects for our clients. This position is a field position for the bulk of the actual work that gets done in our clients’ buildings. The install tech needs to coordinate with project management, field superintendents and others to fully understand their role on specific projects. They interpret our drawing packages to create the basis of the finished systems.
This installation can include access control/CCTV/ intrusion detection systems, equipment racks, etc. This position will work under the close supervision of other staff members while attaining the skills and experience needed to perform normal installation tasks.
What will you be doing?
+ Training and developing the basic skills needed is a key goal of this position
+ Proper identification of cables, pulling, cutting wrapping, hanging and testing cable runs to functional and cable riser diagrams
+ Physical installation of a wide variety of technology into a wide variety of locations
+ Execute a wide variety of cabling terminations for all wire and connector types
+ Support the preparation of equipment racks for staging of equipment wire lacing including installation of power strips, grounding bars, jack-fields, etc.
+ Able to read and understand functional design drawings as well as cable riser diagrams and rack elevations
+ Able to assist in the mounting of base build equipment such as access control/CCTV/ intrusion detection systems
+ Provide a consistent level of technical performance as well as flexibility in work schedule. This position requires periodic overtime and may require regular overtime for extended periods to meet fabrication deadlines
+ Able to complete assignments in accordance with or better than established task durations as well as estimate task durations to meet assigned deadlines including weekends and overtime. Provides daily feedback to the more senior install techs, Site Superintendent and/or management
+ Able to build and wire custom panels from engineering drawings
+ Assisting in fiber optic cable handling, and installation
+ Maintain an organized work environment specifically orderliness and cleanliness of the shop and jobsites.
+ Responsible for tracking and maintaining their toolkit, company vehicles and installation materials inventories. Keeping things clean, orderly and well documented
+ Responsible for tracking and maintaining their personal licenses, certifications and qualifications. (some states have specific requirement in this area)
+ Maintain daily record of time worked on specific projects for timesheet entry and work done reporting
Complexity:
This level of technician will be responsible for performing tasks on client’s job sites with high level of supervision. Most tasks performed will be checked by others. The AIT will be part of an installation team and always have close supervision.
Decision Making Authority:
This position will not be alone on jobsites and will rely on others for most decisions. In general, the project manager and a site supervisor are available to answer questions. This position requires good diplomacy in working with our clients and other key stakeholders on the job sites.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that may be met by an employee. The employee may be exposed to construction site conditions on a regular basis. Employee will be responsible for their safety while on job sites and to comply with all safety regulations in place by the GC. Use of PPE is usually required on job sites. The employee can typically spend at least 50% of their time on their feet and be required to mobile around the construction site. The employee must have the ability to occasionally climb ladders, use stairs and lift and/or move materials up to 40 pounds in construction areas. The individual is regularly required to use keyboards, test equipment and controls required for SI installation projects. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth vision. When not on construction sites, the employee will experience normal office conditions and be required to use office equipment such as computers, peripherals, etc.
Travel:
Frequent travel by car and occasional airplane trips are required. Employee must possess a valid driver’s license in their state of residence. Employee will be required to use their own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage at the current corporate rate. Local travel to job sites (within a 2-hourdriving distance each way) will make up 70-90% usually but remote travel can be up to 30% of the job at times. 10% remote travel is required on a regular basis.
Safety:
+ Maintain and wear appropriate PPE as the job and tasks require it.
+ Ensure hazards are addressed and rectified in a timely manner.
What do we require from you?
Education/Certifications:
+ High school or GED equal
+ Lenel Certification (will begin online and book self-study)
+ One year as a fabrication technician or other related industry experience is desired
+ Must have a valid driver’s license and adhere to our insurance requirements
+ OSHA 30 Certificate will be obtained in the first 6 months. NYC OSHA30 preferred
+ Other relevant certifications may be required or preferred based on the technology focus of the position.
Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
+ Familiarity with a wide range of access control/CCTV systems and networking equipment
+ Knowledgeable of low voltage electrical concepts
+ Possess basic carpentry and/or installation skills
+ Proficient use and safety with power tools
+ Good verbal communication skills and good customer service skills
+ Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems

Technical Responsibilities
+ Prepare reports on project status, problems encountered, and overall results.
