**Description**
Ensures the heating, air-conditioning, and ventilation systems run smoothly and efficiently. Performs installation and service, including inspection, maintenance, repair, and testing of HVAC systems.
+ Perform preventive maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of main cooling/heating systems
+ Install, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, belts, fans, coils, compressors, etc.
+ Work with furnaces, boilers, stoves, heat exchangers, burners, blowers, fans and radiant heaters

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Two (2) years of applicable experience in Residential and Commercial HVAC maintenance and installation

To maintain heating/air conditioning systems; to identify repair and/or replacement needs; to provide necessary information on the proper use of equipment; and to ensure adequate materials are available to complete assignments in a timely manner.
Qualifications

Minimum three years journey mechanic training or equivalent work experience with evaporative cooling units and air handling equipment
Working knowledge of tools, materials, methods and safe working practices of the trade

Communicate with school site-based personnel to keep them properly informed of equipment status
