**General Summary**
Perform planning and cost estimations for all service order projects. This includes writing proposals, designing projects, obtaining subcontractor bids, monitoring projects and providing interim and final inspections of all service order projects.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Accurately determines feasible and cost effective technical solutions to facility work request requirements.
+ Defines project scope in collaboration with senior management and government personnel.
+ Processes accurate project estimates and technical design solutions within established priorities, deadlines, and contract requirements.
+ Ability to analyze existing site or systems conditions and develop solutions for the replacement, modification or construction of facilities, systems, or infrastructure.
+ Technical writing including technical work scopes, requests for proposal and quotations.

**Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements**
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Requires any combination of education and/or experience and training equivalent to eight (8) years in technical or construction fields providing the required minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities to produce detailed construction plans and accurate construction cost estimates.
+ Drafting experience including development of basic site plans, architectural plans, MEP plans, isometric drawings and schematics.
+ Working knowledge of AutoCAD drafting software.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including, Microsoft Exchange, MS Excel, MS Word.
+ Working knowledge of commercial constructions estimating software and databases.
+ Working knowledge of all phases of commercial constructions estimating including budgetary and detailed estimates, change orders, and job costing analysis.
+ Must have excellent writing and verbal skills.
+ Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record in accordance with Company policies.
+ Must secure and maintain a security clearance and Common Access Card in accordance with DoD policies.

W hat you will be doing as a n Avionics Technician :
In this role, you can expect to perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of avionics systems on board aircraft at a Textron Aviation Service Center\. Your expertise will ensure the safety and efficiency of our aircraft \. Join us and play a crucial role in maintaining top\-notch aviation standards\.
Your responsibilities may include \(but are not limited to\):
Functional Testing : Isolate and repair avionics system issues based on customer complaints, following FAA procedures
Problem Diagnosis : Analyze in\-flight data and customer feedback to diagnose and correct issues
Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve defects in units or wiring discrepancies
Component Replacement : Replace defective units, repair wiring, and modify aircraft as needed
Flight Testing : Accompany pilots to conduct functional tests on repaired or aligned systems as needed
Instruction Compliance : Perform duties based on aircraft orders, wiring diagrams, and both oral and written instructions
**Qualifications**
What you need to be successful:
A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required
A minimum 2 years experience in aircraft avionics system troubleshooting and repair is required
Airframe and Powerplant \(A&P\) Certification is helpful
Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, it applicable is required
