What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
· Use computerized manufacturing technologies or related systems to meet production and customer requirements.
· Perform set-up duties on fabrication equipment and the safety devices in accordance with production documentation.
· Position production materials and tooling and maintains accurate dimensions according to print specifications.
· Operate and adjusts various equipment, including controllers, and edits programs according to production documentation.
· Meet established performance standards to ensure production schedules are met.
· Follow all applicable safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions or potential safety hazards to team leader or appropriate resource.
· Ensure that products and systems meet CADDY quality standards.
· Inspects work to ensure accurate dimensional requirements are met per prints.
· Perform specified preventative maintenance procedures, and assists Maintenance and outside sources with trouble-shooting systems.
· Take action and notifies appropriate resource when problems arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, etc.
· Participate actively as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs.
· Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
· May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
You have:
· Minimum of One Year Prior Experience in Machine Operating
· Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.
· Knowledge of all operations of the assigned production process required
· Knowledge of safety policies and procedures, and ability to promote compliance with them.
· Skill in analytical thinking and problem solving
· Skills or Ability in mechanical repairs or solving
· Forklift licensed or ability to acquire one.
· Ability to lift, slide and shake heavy gauges of material.
· Ability to read and use measuring equipment (i.e. tape measure, caliper)
· Ability to identify and support continuous improvement efforts with the Production Supervisor.
