Inspects/sorts the eggs to ensure the highest quality product is being packaged. Confirms and verifies product weight and labeling accuracy. Ensures proper sealing, cleanliness, and packaging of bags and pails. Understands expiration dates, item numbers, and proper documentation. Minimizes product loss through consistent attention to detail. Maintains a clean, neat, and sanitary work area. Reports all work-related injuries or unsafe conditions to supervisor immediately. Uses appropriate safety equipment (e.g., ear plugs, boots, safety glasses, bump caps, etc.) and lockout/tagout procedures as required. Follows supervisor instructions and supports cross-departmental cooperation. Maintains good personal hygiene. Willing and able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED: Minimum 2 years of experience operating Multivac machines in a food production environment. Demonstrated ability to perform technical PMs and identify equipment-related issues. Prior experience training and mentoring peers in a production setting. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out oral and written instructions. Demonstrates initiative, responsibility, and strong interpersonal skills. Able to work both independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude and self-motivated approach to work. Comfortable working around cleaning solutions and in manufacturing environments. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to work in cold, wet, noisy, dusty and humid environments. Possesses good hand-eye coordination. Able to stand on hard surface most of the shift, ascend and descend stairs, bend, stoop or crouch, grasp and reach. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Standing for long periods of time. The noise levels in the work environment will range from moderate to loud.
