    **Job Description**

    This position is for an IAS/ATG/OPS/GVS Electronics Technician. Working alone or in small teams, this individual will perform testing and maintenance functions on Automatic Tank Gauging Systems, Independent Alarm Systems, Overfill Protection Systems, and Ground Verification Systems at Department of Defense installations across the United States with to include supporting Pacific Island locations.

    The Electronics Technician ensures proper operation of fuels accounting, alarm monitoring and controls, and leak detection equipment. Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and install electronic components and electrical systems using hand tools and testing instruments, and keeps organized, detailed records of work performed.

    Responsible for coordinating travel to customer sites, maintaining on-hand components and assigned safety equipment, and supplying basic hand tools & testing equipment, as well as thorough communication with dispatchers, your manager, and installation teams to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly conveyed to the customer.

    Technician is required to compile and reconcile travel charging on a weekly basis.
