THE ROLE
The CPP Cutting Operator is responsible for operating the Rosenthal Machine that fabricates prepreg rolls into sheets. B level positions are responsible for cross-training on A-B level positions within the CPP/Collation department.

Review and understand work orders.

Set-up prepreg rolls onto machine following proper procedures.
Enter length specifications in machine and adjust slitters to the required width of the panels.

**Description**
Under general supervision provides technical knowledge and guidance to assist with maintenance of automation systems. Provide assistance in installation, diagnostics, and repair of industrial automation systems and equipment.
+ Interface between staff engineers, external technical representatives, operations, and maintenance personnel.
+ Assists in installation, diagnostics, and maintenance of industrial automation equipment (i.e. instrumentation, industrial communications, process control systems, and third party equipment).
+ Actively participates in safety and environmental programs and other programs determined by management.
+ Perform other duties as required.
**Qualifications**
Minimum Requirements:
+ Two (2) years’ experience relevant to electrical and/or instrumentation repair and maintenance in an industrial setting.
+ Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude. The selected candidate shall demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills while also passing a written assessment where required. This exam is based on skills/abilities and/or academic knowledge, as well as safety.

**Where You Will Work**
Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

**Description**
Highly skilled workers who perform maintenance crafts work such as plumbing, pipefitting, welding, machining, boiler making, gear component assembly or other specialized area. Will perform maintenance activities independently, with minimal supervision.
Specifically, a Machinist performs duties related to the set up and operation of machine tools and fits and assembles parts to make or repair metal parts, mechanisms, tools or machines using Metal Lathes, Drill Press, Horizontal Milling Machine, Band Saw and Boring Unit. Lays out work from drawings, sketches, and written specifications. Rebuilds all gearing components on 4100XPA, XPB, XPC/AC Komatsu Electric Shovels including Hoist 1st and 2nd intermediate assembly, Hoist Drum assembly, Propel and Swing Shaft Assembly, Crowd Gear Case Assembly, Point Sheave Assembly, Saddle Block Assembly, Side Frame Line Boring and Motor Alignments. Repair or build replacement parts for PV271, PV271XC Epiroc Diesel Drills
+ Perform routine maintenance activities
+ Develop solutions for various maintenance situations
+ Complete Work Orders and other maintenance documentation
+ Train and mentor maintenance employees

**Qualifications**
