If you like to troubleshoot hardware, solve complex problems, and make equipment work better, this is the role for you. As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll work in our state-of-the-art facility and at customer sites around the globe, where you are the face of Applied Materials and an integral part of a vibrant and diverse team.
Our senior-level Field Service Engineers work independently, and help train junior colleagues, to create and support the technology that the world relies on to manufacture semiconductor chips and related materials. You’ll work beside global customers to install, maintain and upgrade their Applied Materials equipment, delivering world-class support for multimillion-dollar production systems.
**You will:**
+ Install leading-edge customer equipment, perform scheduled preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance, and upgrade equipment
+ Use your troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, as well as company diagnostic tools and documentation, to solve complex equipment issues
+ Generate, follow and possibly approve documented procedures and published task plans
+ Lead projects (when needed), document progress, and communicate with customer and internal business units on progress
+ Complete required job documentation, safety training and procedures for processing parts
+ Professionally represent Applied Materials to the customer, using your “customer first” mindset
+ Satisfy the company’s and customer’s on-site requirements, including safety, environmental and COVID-19 guidelines
+ Train junior engineers on site-related safety, troubleshooting procedures, and developing a customer-first mindset
**You’ll need:**
+ An associate degree in electronics or engineering technologies, or equivalent work experience, or completion of military technical training and field experience
+ Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics, and an advanced knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum and/or thermodynamics
+ Clear and effective written/verbal communications skills, with an emphasis on documenting details, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
+ Strong knowledge of hand tools and proper usage, including a digital multimeter
+ Advanced knowledge of wafer/Mask processing parameters
+ Extensive knowledge of Applied Materials systems and company processes
+ Project management skills, and an ability to lead key customer and internal product meetings
**Nice to have:**
+ 7–10 years of work experience in semiconductor industry or another equipment support industry

+ lift at least 35 lbs.
+ work in a clean room environment wearing coveralls, hood, booties, safety glasses, and gloves

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. DESCRIPTION
The Print Production Operator provides city departments with high quality, timely, cost effective and value-added print, mail, and surplus property services. The Print Production Operator participates in the operation of the Print Shop to assist customers in achieving their print goals.. The position is responsible for determining the best method, equipment, materials, tools, and software solutions to complete a project.Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Manage print, mail and surplus property contracts for presort mail service, express package service, overflow printing services and surplus property services, this includes reviewing monthly billing costs, settlement of billing issues, and approval of monthly billings for payment issuance.
• Participate in budget preparation, administration and reporting; prepare cost estimates for budget recommendation; submit justifications for budget items; recommend expenditure requests for designed accounts; monitor and control expenditures and budget accounts.
• Assist customers and suppliers to develop purchases and specifications for procurement actions; order, monitor and maintain inventory, specialty substrates, materials and supplies.
• Operate high volume black & white and color digital production printers using industry standard printing software for job setting, digital color saturation, and successful execution of batch files turning digital files into paper output.
• Operate and maintain large format printer, cutter and laminator.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Work Experience:
Requires two (2) years of experience in print production, operation of computerized reprographic machines, mail center equipment and related equipment.
Candidates must have the minimum amount of work experience. Years of experience are based upon a full-time work schedule (2,080 hours per year). The sum of an applicant’s full-time and/or part-time qualifying work experience must meet or exceed the stated minimum qualification. Education will not substitute for the required work experience; however, related unpaid and/or volunteer work experience may be used as qualifying work experience.Education:
Requires the equivalent to an associate degree from an accredited college in Print Technology or degree related to the core functions of this position.
