U-Haul’s Building Management is currently seeking a well-rounded Maintenance Technician to join our fast-paced team at Midtown Campus. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The goal is to maintain the building & common areas to the best possible condition. This position will include leading plumbing maintenance at U-Haul’s corporate headquarters, with minimal travel. Travel to another location is a rare occurrence.

To meet the duties of this occupation, the Maintenance Technician must complete various tasks, such as:

+ Install and repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, commodes and urinals

+ Soldering/Sweating pipes

+ Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs

+ Perform preventative maintenance

+ Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in plumbing work

+ Helping in all maintenance areas

+ Ensuring tools and equipment are in working order and keeping maintenance room in safe & clean conditions

Qualifications:

+ 5+ years in commercial plumbing is a must

About the maintenance technician position at Palm Crest at Station 40:

We’re looking for a talented maintenance technician who will be responsible for addressing an array of apartment and property maintenance duties as specified by the maintenance supervisor and/or property manager, and for maintaining the highest standards in customer service and curb appeal of the assigned property.

+ Perform various maintenance functions including repairs to the following: electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance as dictated by state guidelines.

+ Perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and ceramic tile repair.

+ Perform various proactive preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, golf-cart, elevator and more.

+ Maintain work order system by verifying all orders are completed in a timely manner to company standards and the resident’s satisfaction.

Job Summary

Under limited supervision, Inspects, diagnoses, repairs, and performs emergency/preventive maintenance. Project general requirements include but are not limited to; maintenance and repair of freezer and refrigeration units, food service equipment, appliances, fitness equipment, HVAC equipment, testing and balancing, corrosion control, floor coverings, roof systems, painting, finishes, fences and gates, general facility maintenance. Determines replacement parts as needed. Inspect, clean, and maintain commercial kitchen hood and duct exhaust systems. Maintain, and repair the site's mechanical locks. Additional general duties

+ Acts as Maximo and Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) and Hazardous Waste (HAZWASTE) key person.

+ Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on assigned heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) units, power generation equipment, permanent and temporary structures including doors, windows, sinks and toilets.

+ Performs corrosion control measures on site structures such as entry control points, force protection points, fences, gates and signs.

+ Maintains and operates the assigned material handling equipment (MHE) such as the Bobcat multipurpose handler and associated attachments, 2.5K and 10K forklifts and manlift.

+ Maintains and operates the assigned grass cutting equipment such as riding and push type lawnmowers, Bobcat lawnmower attachment and weed trimmers.

+ Maintains and operates the assigned snow removal equipment such as the tracked and wheeled snowblowers and the Bobcat snowplow and snowblower attachments.

+ Participates in the bimonthly Morale Welfare and Recreational (MWR) schedule.

+ Operates and drives the company vehicles to perform twice weekly (Tuesdays and Thursdays) mail pick-up and delivery runs to Misawa AB, Japan Air Post Office (APO).

+ Concurrently, completes shopping requirements at the Misawa AB commissary and exchange for the site-operated kiosk.

Basic Qualifications

+ US Citizen with a high school diploma or equivalent

+ Have at least 5 years of experience.

+ Must currently hold an Active DoD Secret Clearance or be able to obtain one prior to deployment.

+ Must possess an EPA Section 608 Universal Refrigerant Handling Certification or be able to obtain the certification within 30 days of arrival at the job site.

+ Must have mandatory knowledge on the principles of HVAC/R systems, controls, and components.

+ Must be highly proficient in the troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance and rewiring of the site’s fleet of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, in particular the 5-Ton Environmental Control Unit (ECU) built by Alaska Structures Incorporated.

+ Should have the ability to interpret drawings and schematics

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Repairs:

Conduct immediate equipment root cause analysis leading to proper repairs of machinery to ensure optimal functionality.

Preventive Maintenance:

Conduct typical inspections and preservation of a wide variety of equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality.

Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures and schedules.

Inventory Management:

Monitor and maintain equipment inventories and supplies

Collaborations:

Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to develop and implement control strategies for new and existing equipment. Perform system testing and validation to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.

Elevate with your team members to build a culture and atmosphere of a collaborative efficient team

Innovation:

MUST HAVES

3 years of manufacturing floor experience as a maintenance technician or equipment technician.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work in cross-functional teams.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

**About the Role:**

As a CBRE Data Center Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a Data Center operation.

This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Assist with daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance.

+ Ensure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.

+ React to Building Management System alarms, and complete emergency repairs as needed.

+ Work with third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with company-developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations.

+ Alert management if subcontractor performance doesn’t meet all requirements per the Master Service Agreement.

+ Complete planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all equipment.

+ Check BMS for running and alarm conditions and respond to HVAC-related client problems.

+ Building walkthroughs, taking meter readings from UPS, PDU’s and utilities.

+ Provide fixes to facility and plant faults and defects.

+ Complete assigned work according to established processes and procedures. Follow all safety processes and requirements and ensure all regulatory requirements and quality standards are met. Conduct routine quality checks for comprehensive maintenance records.

+ Complete all required training to ensure successful completion of all job-related responsibilities.

+ Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.

Your Role:

EMD Electronics is seeking Entry Level Technicians for its MEGASYS® team at Chandler, AZ. MEGASYS® is the branded name for EMD Electronics services offering where EMD Electronics technicians and engineers provide on-site gas and chemical/slurry management on an ongoing contractual basis. Technicians work on systems and maintain supply of chemicals and gases to a semiconductor manufacturing environment that makes the chips used in electronic devices.

This is a challenging, hands-on, and rewarding job opportunity for people who want to join a growing business. MEGASYS® personnel are assigned on a full-time basis ranging from 7 day / 24-hour coverage to periodic service calls. The scope of supply includes services maintaining the operation, maintenance and repair of gas, chemical and planar distribution equipment; bulk liquid gases management, container handling (cylinder, drum, tote, etc.), inventory management, gas, and chemical blending equipment; chemical reprocessing, life safety systems, and first responder services. They will ensure compliance in operation and maintenance procedures, emergency preparedness, and drive flawless execution.

Technicians will be expected to work 12-hour shifts, as well as on a rotational day to night / night to day work schedule.

Technicians will be responsible for the safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems, with duties including:

Handling and change-out of gas, chemical, slurry containers
Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative/repair maintenance
Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs
Support of quality systems
Adhering to site protocols and demonstrating a safety-conscious approach
Primary communication point to customer

Physical Attributes:

75% of time walking throughout the facility (3-5 miles per day)
Climbing of ladders up to 12-foot-tall (utilizing fall protection)
Basic lifting (up to 40lbs)
Bending of the knees and overhead reaching
