    * Supporting groundwater gauging and monitoring, environmental compliance documentation, contractor oversight, environmental data collection, report/specifications production, and general regulatory standard interpretations.

    Experience and Skills:


    * Minimum Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) Grade 1 Water Treatment Plant Operator Certification
    * Knowledge of groundwater treatment processes, equipment, and regulations.
    * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    * Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills and aptitude
    * Ability to operate, maintain, and repair water treatment equipment and systems.
    * Ability to monitor and test water quality and adjust as necessary.
    * Ability to follow written and oral instructions, procedures, and safety rules.
    * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    * Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and external agencies.
    * Ability to use computers and software to record and report data.
    * Ability to work in various weather conditions, and to lift and carry heavy objects
    * Ability to perform physically demanding work for discrete periods of time, ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds, and ability to work outdoors part-time throughout the year as needed
    * Experience with general construction and field safety protocols and equipment
    * Ability to analyze field readings, data and operating parameters to optimize system operations

    Qualifications:


    * Minimum degree is a High School Diploma and a state certification or license in water treatment and distribution. A plus, would be candidate with some postsecondary education or training in water treatment, chemistry, biology, or related fields.
    * Minimum 10 years of experience, five years specifically in remediation and O&M.
    * ADEQ Grade 2 Water Treatment Plant Operator Certification
    * 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
    * Hazardous Waste Manifest/DOT Certification
    * Familiarity with Rockwell Automation Products SCADA software
    * Experience with operation of soil vapor extraction (SVE) treatment systems
