**SUMMARY:**
The Mid-Level Wastewater Treatment Operator responsible for carrying out a wide range of tasks related to the operation, maintenance, monitoring, and control of wastewater facilities. Gilbert has two Water Treatment Plants; our North Water Treatment Plant and our San Tan Vista Water Treatment Plant, located at 3695 E. Ocotillo Rd, our current vacancy is at our San Tan Vista Water Treatment Plant .
The Water Treatment Plant Operator reports to the Water Treatment Plant Utility Supervisor. The primary job duties of the Water Treatment Plant Operators include:
+ Operate the water treatment plant including supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system or manually.
+ Conduct minor plant and equipment maintenance including general housekeeping and provide assistance to maintenance staff.
+ Perform laboratory analysis and jar test to determine optimum chemical dosages.
+ Additionally, the Water Treatment Plant Operator is responsible for keeping log books, lab books, lab reports, midnight daily total reports, inspection reports, backwash logs and updating ozone database.
+ Operate and monitor water treatment plant systems using DCS and SCADA computer systems, conduct visual plant inspections, monitor plant operations and processes, ability to work with and around treatment Chemicals in a safe manner, detect problems to ensure proper operation and make process decisions as deemed appropriate.
+ Additionally, we train new employees in the operations and maintenance of Two Surface Water Treatment Plants utilizing the latest in treatment technology focused on continuous quality improvement.

The **Post Process Operator I** is responsible for understanding all aspects of post processing 3D printed parts made from polymer materials using additive technologies.
