    • Proficient in operating and monitoring SCADA Systems with the ability to diagnose operating trends, challenges and directs effective correction procedures

    • Operates production/treatment facilities to control flow and processing of water and disinfection.

    • Accurately executes and documents all required compliance sample events and well as Client requested sample events.

    • Prepare required reports and maintain complete recordkeeping procedures

    • Analyzes recording instrument readings and laboratory test results and adjusts various plant processes accordingly

    • Manage multiple Capital Improvement Projects and complete within budget and on a timeline

    • Inspects systems to determine efficiency of operations, cleanliness, and maintenance activities

    • Supervises and trains employees

    • Determines remedial action in emergencies

    • Prepares work schedules subject to approval of the Assistant Project Manager

    • Performs employee evaluations

    • Assists project leadership in conducting ongoing safety program

    • Consistently approve Timesheets and Expense Reports in a timely manner

    • Performs other duties as required

    • High school diploma or GED

    • ADEQ/ABC Water Treatment level 4 Certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months

    • ADEQ/ABC Water Distribution level 4 Certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months

    • Minimum of five years’ experience in Water Production/Water Treatment or related field.

    • Possess a valid driver’s license

    Ideally, You'll Also Have:

    • Commercial drivers license with a valid HAZMAT Endorsement

    • Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools employed in the general operation of engines, pumps, valves, motors, and related equipment; general maintenance work; safe work practices; principles and methods of biological and chemical sewage analyses, effects and problems of industrial waste in water/wastewater treatment processes, principles of supervision and training; principles of budget preparation and expenditure control

    • Knowledge of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, data management systems and be able to operate plant PLC’s and SCADA systems
