POSITION SUMMARY:
The Field Service Lube Technician is responsible for driving the fuel lube truck to and from jobsites, providing lubrication and regular field maintenance for vehicles and heavy equipment on each jobsite, performing minor field repairs where possible and report vehicle and equipment conditions in daily logs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Keep construction shop, yard and lube truck organized and clean
Prior experience performing routine services on CAT and JOHN DEERE is preferred including maintenance of diesel and gas engines, transmissions, and hydraulics on heavy grading and paving equipment
Must furnish all basic tools for job
Follow all company safety policies and practices
Track daily fuel and oil usage and maintain a comprehensive fuel & lube schedule
Maintain daily logs in a legitimate, timely and organized fashion
Ensure sufficient inventory of all filters as directed by Equipment Manager
Track equipment hours in field
Support equipment division
Work with on-site supervision to support all job/ project needs for fuel, oils, supplies and minor maintenance of the equipment fleet as needed
Organize daily routine and maximize time and delivery methods
Track fuel and oil inventory and report weekly
Assist mechanics on equipment maintenance, repair as needed
Assist with the loading and unload trailers in the shop yard as required
Assist in the Yard and help maintain the overall needs of the shop
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED:High school education or up to two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
1 year of field service lube technician experience preferred
This is a Safety Sensitive position.
$25 - $32/hr depending on experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Commercial Driver's License with a Hazmat endorsement required. Minimum Class B License.
