    The Department of Economic Security, Division of Technology Services (DTS) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Applications Architect (Applications Development Lead). This position is responsible for leading system development and maintenance while guiding a team of developers. This role ensures project completion within established timelines and quality standards by making critical technical decisions, providing strategic direction and communicating project progress. The Applications Development Lead combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership skills to drive the success of software development initiatives. The Applications Development Lead is also responsible for ensuring project completion on time and within quality standards, making technical decisions, mentoring team members, and acting as a bridge between the technical team and stakeholders by communicating project progress and requirements effectively.     Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) in Sierra Vista, AZ is seeking an experienced and qualified **Software Programmer Analyst** **Level 2/3.**

    **What you’ll get to do:**

    + Develop applications and/or modules using languages such as C#, JavaScript, VBA, SQL, HTML and CSS, XML

    + Provide patches and upgrades to existing systems.

    + May design graphical user interface (GUI) to meet the specific needs of users.

    + Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

    + May build add-on modules using application programming interface.

    _Note – The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time, at our facility/campus. This is not a virtual position._

    **_This position may be filled at a higher level based on the qualifications listed below._**

    **Basic Qualifications for S/W Programmer Analyst:**

    + Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience; OR 6 years of experience in lieu of degree

    + Proficient with C#, SQL, HTML and CSS

    + Understanding of VBA and XML

    + Experience providing technical solutions consistent with organizational objectives and business processes

    + Excellent communication skills, ability to operate independently, dynamically manage priorities, and thrive in a collaborative team environment

    + Able to obtain a final US Government Secret Clearance

    **Basic Qualifications for S/W Programmer Analyst Level 3:**

    + Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience; OR Master’s degree with 3 years of experience

    + Strong proficiency with C#, JavaScript, SQL, HTML and CSS

    + Understanding of VBA and XML

    + Experience providing technical solutions consistent with organizational objectives and business processes

    + Excellent communication skills, ability to operate independently, dynamically manage priorities, and thrive in a collaborative team environment

    + Experience in all aspects of software programming languages, design, architectures and application development and maintenance

    + Working knowledge of database and web server technologies

    **Preferred Qualifications for Both Level 2/:**

    + Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline

    + Basic knowledge of source code management using Git

    + Knowledge of object oriented programming principles (C#)

    + Experience developing on teams using Agile methodology, process, and tools

    + Experience using Tableau

    + Active Secret Clearance

    Salary Range: $70,200.00 - $130,000.00Salary Range 2: $0.00 - $0.00

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
