    + Serve as a distinguished thought leader and subject matter expert in multiple facets of Avionics hardware and software.

    + Deliver compelling presentations to clients, catering to both high-level overviews and detailed technical discussions of our product offerings, including Surveillance, Recorders, and Displays.

    + Demonstrate profound expertise in DO-178, ensuring compliance with industry standards through a thorough comprehension of the requisite criteria.

    + Possess a practical understanding of DO-254 hardware design and the application of new software to leverage these designs.

    + Represent L3Harris CAS at industry gatherings, symposiums, and conferences.

    + Provide mentorship to individual contributors, fostering the development of talent and expertise within the organization.

    + Lead and guide small project teams from Technology Readiness Level (TRL) to customer-ready production releases.

    Qualifications:

    + Mastery of embedded software development within the Avionics sector, particularly in supporting surveillance products throughout their lifecycle.

    + Recognition as an expert in the Avionics software domain by colleagues within and external to the organization.

    Educational Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience, or

    + Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience, or

    + A minimum of 16 years of prior related experience in lieu of a formal degree.

    + Must be a US Citizen of Green Card holder

    Preferred Additional Skills:

    + Current or former pilot experience.

    + Expertise across various software disciplines, including but not limited to security, reliability, and Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS) from different providers.

    + Experience with cybersecurity development processes and methods.

    + Basic financial acumen with the ability to discern how operational changes can enhance profitability.

    + Independent work ethic, following verbal or written instructions with minimal supervision.

    + Exceptional organizational skills: disciplined approach to prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing concurrent responsibilities.

    + Proven initiative, removing obstacles proactively and utilizing resources effectively to ensure successful outcomes.
