Team Overview

Our Marketing Communications team is dedicated to advancing ADF’s mission through strategic, creative digital content. As a collaborative team, we craft compelling messaging across platforms. The Web Designer plays a key role, focusing on website development, digital marketing, and creating visually impactful content that enhances user experience and supports our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

+ Web Design & Development: Design webpages that engage target audiences, drive website traffic, and provide an optimal user experience. Collaborate with teammates to create visual aspects of landing pages and campaign microsites, including design, layout, HTML/CSS creation, and interactive feature development.

+ Collaboration & Problem-Solving: Partner with internal clients to gather requirements, provide creative input, and solve design challenges. Work closely with the internal software development team or external vendors to ensure seamless integration of design, layout, and functionality.

+ Content Management & Consistency: Manage schedules and update static copy to ensure consistency with the Resources and Brand & Style guide.

+ Testing & Optimization: Test and improve website usability and performance, using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to ensure effectiveness.

+ Technical Skills: Utilize expertise in CSS, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, and content management systems (CMS) to build interactive and dynamic applications. Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver) for design tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Political Science or related field.

+ 4+ years experience in front-end web development, web-based design and publishing.

+ 4+ years experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/JQuery.

+ Experience with responsive design and digital optimization techniques.

+ Experience executing complex email campaigns through a major email service provider.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Previous project management experience

We are looking for a creative and strategic Senior Visual/UX Web Designer. This is to help shape the digital presence of Zoom and support our diverse and global user base. In this role, you will lead large-scale web design projects, ensuring that every visual element enhances accessibility, user experience, and business impact. Responsibilities

- Leading the ideation, design, and execution of visually compelling, brand-aligned digital experiences across Zoom’s web ecosystem.

- Maintain and evolve Zoom’s web design system, ensuring consistency, access ibility, and scalability across all digital assets.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to design engaging web pages, feature launches, A/B tests, and personalized experiences that optimize user engagement and conversion rates.

- Advocate for and implement best practices in responsive design, accessibility (ADA compliance), and UX/UI principles to improve usability for all users.

- Manage design projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring efficient feedback loops and a high standard of execution.

- Work closely with developers to ensure seamless design-to-development handoff, optimizing designs for performance, scalability, and accessibility.

- Create marketing materials and digital assets that effectively communicate Zoom’s value propositions and drive business growth.

- Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing innovative ideas to enhance the design and functionality of Zoom’s digital ecosystem.

- Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering an inclusive and collaborative team environment.

What we’re looking for

- Further education in Design, Visual Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

- Vast experience in visual/web design, with a portfolio showcasing digital work for high-profile brands, SaaS, or tech companies.

- Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).

- Solid understanding of HTML/CSS, modern web technologies, and best practices for design-to-development collaboration.

- Experience using data-driven decision-making, A/B testing, and analytics to inform design choices.

- Knowledge of responsive design, inclusive design principles, and scalable design systems.

- Excellent visual storytelling skills with a deep understanding of branding, typography, layout, and user psychology.

- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a sense of ownership.

- Ability to communicate design rationale effectively and present work to stakeholders at all levels.

- Passion for innovation, diversity, and contributing to a world-class marketing team.

- Experience working in high-tech, SaaS, or enterprise software environments is advantageous.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$98 900,00

Maximum:

$228 700,00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations

Web Designer

Alliance Defending Freedom is looking for a highly professional Web Designer to join us in our Scottsdale, AZ or Lansdowne, VA office. As the Web Designer, you are a vital part of the Marketing Communications Team. In this role, you will report to the Director of Digital Content and are responsible for the planning, development, and execution of digital marketing needs for the business, primarily focusing on Alliance Defending Freedom websites. You will collaborate with cross-functional divisions to ensure exceptional development and execution of web pages, & other digital needs. You will also be responsible for developing and executing creative/visual concepts for online communication initiatives.

Your Essential Responsibilities:

In this position, you will:

+ Design webpages that engage target audiences, drive website traffic, and provide optimal user experience

We are seeking a **Web Developer** to execute the visual direction of our web presence. This individual will be responsible for the majority of our creative web design work, playing a crucial role in shaping our online brand identity and user experience. **This position is full-time, remote, and a 6-week contract.**

+ Understanding of responsive web design principles and best practices
