    We're looking for a **Ontology Specialist / Knowledge Engineering Manager** who is passionate about delivering the next generation of digital products. You are willing to work with subject matter experts, product leaders, customers and developers to create knowledge organization systems (e.g. vocabularies, taxonomies, etc.) that guides the user experience.

    Reporting to the Director of Content Technology, this role is part of a centralized function within the Digital Experience Group (DXG) a team supporting a suite of Content Technology tools and services used by the product and content teams in each division.

    **Responsibilities:**

    + **Design and implement ontology-driven knowledge frameworks** to support AI, search, and content retrieval systems.

    + **Conduct semantic analysis and optimization** to improve knowledge graph performance and relevance.

    + **Develop and maintain knowledge graphs, ontologies, and metadata models** , ensuring scalability and alignment with business goals.

    + **Ensure adherence to data governance, compliance, and privacy standards** , particularly in the use of AI-driven systems.

    + **Establish best practices for ontology versioning, data integration, and knowledge updates** .

    + **Lead data modeling programs** , focusing on conceptual, logical, and physical models for knowledge representation.

    + **Implement advanced data integration processes** , including ETL pipelines for knowledge enrichment and semantic interoperability.

    + **Oversee large-scale knowledge migration and transformation projects** , ensuring minimal disruption and high data fidelity.

    **Experience:**

    + Bachelor's degree in computer science, library science, linguistic or related experience

    + Has 5 years experience developing or using knowledge models based on W3C standards (RDF, OWL, SKOS, etc.)

    + Has 5 year experience integrating ontologies; such as Dublin Core, FRBR, FOAF, etc.

    + Has 5 year experience integrating linked data sets in application

    + Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills

    + Abstract thinker with the ability to conceptualize or generalize, and apply the corporate knowledge model to solve business problems in different domains

    Target salary range CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $145,500 - $203,900

    This role is eligible for Bonus.
