The Health Services Research Team in HHR is seeking a Senior Research Scientist to join a team of multi-disciplinary research professionals passionate about combining and analyzing diverse types of primary and secondary data to extract new, actionable discoveries about our members and their health-related behaviors. Our team’s areas of focus include—but are not limited to—Medicare policy and payment; care delivery and quality; access to healthcare, and health equity. **Responsibilities:**
Humana is seeking a Senior Research Scientist. As part of the HHR team, you will work collaboratively to design and conduct health services and outcomes research studies:
+ Understand policy, business and clinical issues and map them into quantitative questions at the appropriate level of inquiry.
+ Identify scientifically valid study designs based on research questions and available data sources.
+ Contribute to study conceptualization, literature reviews and study protocol development.

Overview
This role will support the J& MedTech Neurovascular business. J&J MedTech’s Neurovascualar portfolio offers a broad range of devices used in the endovascular treatment of hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke.
The Clinical Science & External Research professional will support end-to-end evidence generation and dissemination strategies (EGS/EDS). In collaboration with cross-functional teams and research investigators, the CSER manager will generate clinically relevant evidence for the company's innovative pipeline that impact patient lives.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Contribute to evidence generation and dissemination strategy for assigned product portfolio, including developing and implementing publication plan
+ Supports impactful publication development cross-functionally with Clinical Research, Biostatistics and physician authors

**Responsibilities**
Using knowledge of scientific principles and concepts Facilitates and supports the organization's scientific research programs/projects by applying a wide variety of scientific principles. Plans and executes laboratory research. Supports manuscript preparation and participates in grant writing related to one or more of the organization's scientific research programs

**Responsibilities**
+ Provide effective data management to enable complex analytics from a myriad of systems and software including Oracle, Databricks, AWS, and ServiceNow
+ Ability to align data with data analytic tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik Dashboards.
+ Facilitate the needs, issues, and challenges faced by the clients; perform gap analysis and recommend solutions and can be enabled within the data systems.
