**Job Description**
**Turner & Townsend** is seeking a **Construction Project Manager** to support the full lifecycle of large-scale data center construction projects for a global technology client. This is a **full-time onsite role** , embedded within the client’s Data Center Construction team. **Summary**
The specialist will be responsible for field project management and quality control inspections of SRP and SRP contracted civil and general utility construction. Includes testing and approval of materials, provided services, verification of construction workmanship, site safety requirements and coordination of work hours and equipment. Will assist in the development of project schedules, manpower and supporting staff requirements. Will be involved in various phases of engineering (design, design overview, design changes, pre-bid and construction meetings and installation records), construction contract administration and quality control. The specialist will have a significant role in total project management endeavoring to produce a product functioning as designed, completed safely, on schedule and within budget. Projects will include a wide range of SRP facilities including but not limited to distribution, transmission, substation, generation, water delivery and hydro generation.
**What You'll Do**
+ Perform field testing of civil materials or schedule/coordinate such testing with civil material testing firms. Must be knowledgeable and experienced in civil material testing that includes but is not limited to: soils, aggregates, cemetitious materials and asphaltic concrete. Testing and sampling to include at a minimum: field density testing using nuclear and sand cone methods, sampling and testing of aggregates, slump, unit weight, temperature and air entrainment of concrete, sampling of concrete for compression testing, coring of concrete and asphaltic pavement, field sampling of asphaltic concrete, Marshall testing and density of asphalt using nuclear methods.
+ Knowledgeable and experienced in laboratory testing of civil materials. Includes sieve analysis, Atterberg limit, moisture/density relationship, moisture/density measurements using ring samples, direct shear, consolidation of soils, swelling pressure, collapse potential, resistance value (R-value), gyratory compaction, Marshall test, extraction and gradation of asphalt, flexural strength of shotcrete panels and compression of soils, concrete cylinders, mortar cubes, grout prisms and masonry units.
+ Must also be capable of verifying structural bolted connections using turn-of-the-nut method and be familiar with different grades of fastener material.
+ Knowledge of conductor installation, conductor sagging, transmission tower and pole assembly preferred.
+ Collects data, reviews and comments on engineering design and constructability for compliance with SRP standards. Will also interface with engineer and construction forces in regards to design drawing and specification interpretation.
+ Reviews and comments on material availability and usage.
+ Reviews and monitors construction schedule to insure its feasibility and alerts responsible engineer and management of possible problem areas.
+ Maintains complete daily log to include cost trends and comments of possible change orders for regular reports to management as required.
+ Prepares routine and special reports designed to inform responsible engineer or management in a timely manner of the need for action and decision as required.
+ Monitors construction progress in the field and coordinates activity as required to maintain job progress and adherence to schedule. Responsible for verification of work completed by contractor for progress payments as required.
+ Determines if the construction forces have complied with the safety, design and construction requirements and specifications and has authority and responsibility to direct construction forces to meet these requirements up to and including stopping work activities.
+ Resolve errors, omissions and/or problems with little or no direction from the responsible engineer.
+ Resolves procurement problems of owner or contractor furnished materials delivered to job site by SRP or material supply house personnel.

**Summary**
The Senior Business Systems Analyst serves as the liaison between the business community and the technical development team(s) who support the systems the community uses. In this exciting and fast-paced role as a Principal Quality Engineer, you will have responsibility for applying and coaching the use of Design | Reliability | Manufacturability (DRM) methodologies across the Medtronic product development community. The position will support Medtronic’s DRM strategy and tactics to achieve the desired business results. This position is responsible for global implementation across all locations of Product Development within Medtronic. A key focus area of this position will be to implement and refine the DRM / New Product Development Metrics strategy at the Enterprise level and assure systems and processes are in place to enable the execution of that strategy.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Refine and contribute to New Product Development strategy regarding metrics in partnership with the DRM Council, PMO Council, R&D Council, Quality and GOS&C organizations to enable the assessment of progress and effectiveness of the DRM and other New Product Development improvement initiatives across MDT.
+ Improve the efficiency and data integrity around DRM / NPD Metrics at the enterprise level and work to assure successful integration with OU/Portfolio level metrics across MDT.
+ Lead the improvements to the database (in partnership with IT, GOS&C, Quality and other functions) to facilitate collection and reporting of Metrics
+ Lead the collection and reporting of Enterprise-wide Metrics.
+ Analyze Metrics to determine effectiveness of improvement initiatives and identify additional improvements needed to acheilve Medtronic’s desired business outcomes such as Quality, Product Performance, Gross Margin, Cost, Time to Market, etc.
Other Responsibilities will include
+ Drive best practice sharing of Metrics measurement and DRM methods across MDT businesses and functions
+ Contribute to DRM program strategy development and execution in partnership with the Enterprise-wide DRM Council
+ Conduct and participate in DRM Assessments across global R&D locations to enable measurement of DRM maturity growth across the business
+ Assist in the development of and facilitation of DRM training for all levels of the organization (New Employees, GBs, BBs, Management)
+ Provide technical leadership for the application of DRM across MDT businesses
+ Facilitate application and use of DRM tools to make breakthrough improvements in the design, reliability and manufacturability of products
+ Coach DRM/DFSS Black Belt and Green Belt candidates towards successful applications of the methods and successful certification
+ Coach and mentor product development teams and individuals in the use of DRM methods & tools
+ Enhance the product development lifecycle within R&D by applying industry best practices, processes and metrics
+ Recommend improvements to work processes and procedures, design guidelines, systems models, interfaces, systems architectures, and protocols,
+ All activities must be performed in compliance with the Quality System
+ Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or governmental regulations
+ All other duties as assigned

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or technical field with 7+ years of work experience in Engineering and/or Quality OR Advanced degree in Engineering, Science or technical field with 5+ years of work experience in Engineering and/or Quality
**Nice to Have**
+ A minimum of 10 years of business operations and new product development experience, which includes a minimum of 3+ years of demonstrated process improvement program success
+ Master’s Degree in Engineering Discipline / Engineering degree in Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or SW engineering
+ Black Belt or Master Black Belt – Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) / DRM
+ Past engineering experience in medical device product development
+ Familiarity with FDA and ISO standards
+ Leadership experience at the manager level in an Engineering organization
+ Demonstrated experience working in a Research and Development organization as a change agent implementing DRM / DFSS methods and strategies resulting in sustained change
+ Experience developing and improving metrics collection and reporting systems
+ Experience in or willingness to learn Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform and SQL.
+ Experience in the application of analytical / statistical methods for improvements in product performance
+ Experience and ability to train, lead, mentor, coach and inspire individuals and teams to significantly impact the business
+ Excellent oral and written skills with the ability to interface at all levels in the organization
+ Ability to work with others and accomplish goals working within a team
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities
+ Experience as a creative problem solver
+ Comfort in dealing with ambiguity
+ Confidence in applying engineering experience to make pragmatic choices about system design, architecture, and implementation

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$130,400.00 - $195,600.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
