Reporting directly to an Industrial Water Regional Leader, in your role as **Senior Process Engineer and Business Development Leader** you will support the business development and client management for our fast-growing industrial practice meeting the water supply and treatment needs for our clients in Mining, Pulp & Paper, Food & Beverage, Power, Oil & Gas, and Manufacturing.
Located in Denver or Phoenix Offices Our perfect candidate will have experience in client relationship management, business development and providing process engineering technical services to industrial clients with a high focus on internal and external Mining, Energy, Power, and F&B, Advanced Manufacturing clientele.
You will network, internally and externally with water professionals on both technical project execution and related business development initiatives. You will build your personal brand as a “go to” person in specific industrial water areas of practice and client groups, such as Mining, Energy, Power, F&B, and Advanced Manufacturing.
Candidate should be able to identify, evaluate, select, specify, and engineer systems or products for a project, and will perform a variety of tasks which may include inspection, troubleshooting, calculations, design sketches and concepts, estimating, calculating savings, report preparation and field work. Candidate should be comfortable presenting single source solutions.
Project management skills include communication, financial and schedule tracking as well as development of related interim plans to address challenges. Projects assigned may be broad, varied and diverse in scope. You will analyze proposed projects to ensure safety, reliability, resource efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Business development/application activities ranges from intentional listening to client needs and identifying related solution opportunities to high level business strategies and implementation planning. All Stantec industrial water leaders perform as seller-doers, routinely developing detailed proposals for a wide variety of project settings.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
Consistently demonstrate a commitment to the Health and Safety culture within Stantec
Maintain relationships and grow the client base of Industrial Water services in Southwestern US region.
Provide inputs and regular reviews of the Stantec opportunities and client relationship management database for industrial water activities.
Respond to Request-for-Proposals, Statement of Qualifications requests and other inquiries for Stantec’s capabilities in Industrial Water
Work with the Sector Leaders and Stantec’s many multidiscipline operations centers to support their needs on Industrial Water

+ Proven business development and client relationship management experience
+ Proven technical skills applicable to delivering or supporting Industrial Water projects
+ Has a grasp of water/wastewater treatment engineering design technologies and water/wastewater characterization (industrial)
+ Understands typical industrial water needs and wastewater sources, including tailings treatment, mine water process, high salinity brine processing, reuse, internal service water, boilers, cooling water, high purity, etc.
+ Understands typical phases of project delivery, client procurement procedures, and typical industrial water regulatory approval processes
+ Experience in, or developing skills in Project Management for delivering Industrial Water projects

Job Purpose
The Quality Manager provides leadership and management for the quality function and sustainment of the Quality and Continuous Improvement (CI) culture at the plant level for two sites in the Americas (Mesa, Arizona & Libertyville, Illinois). **ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Project Engineer is assigned to identifying, developing and implementing engineering and system projects to improve plant condition, operability, reliability, cost, environmental and safety performance. **WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**
+ Practice and promote safety in such a way as including but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
+ Review CAPEX Projects proposals, reports, recommendations and action plan for improvement prior to sending them out to the plants to ensure completeness of the reports.
+ Establish, maintain and update technical database and library for projects and studies conducted in order to share the learnings.
+ Prepare project-engineering studies, in collaboration with the other sections, to provide state of the art technology best practice, long term and cost effective concepts and solutions.
+ Provide analytical and physical support in the manufacturing group thru close monitoring and on-site supervision in the implementation of the CAPEX project to ensure that the CAPEX projects are being executed according to the design and scope.
+ Prepare and review necessary drawings such as detailed and general arrangement lay out.
