Job Summary:

Our cybersecurity team in Tucson, AZ, is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) known as a Principal Specialist within the organization.

The ISSO will support classified computing environments 100% onsite at our facility in Tucson . The successful candidate will interface with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to ensure adherence with NIST Special Publications, customer directives, and company policies as applicable all NISPOM Chapter 8, DAAPM, JSIG policies (see list below for further details ** )

What you will do:

+ Assessing and monitoring system compliance, auditing, security plan development and delivering information systems security education and awareness

+ Investigating information system security violations and help prepare reports specifying corrective and preventative actions

+ Reviewing and approving (within authority) configuration management requests

+ Conducting technical and administrative assessments

+ Integrating new cybersecurity processes, procedures, and tools

+ Support the creation, review and update of cybersecurity documentation and other technical writing

Qualifications you must have:

+ Typically requires a bachelor’s degree with five (5) years of relevant experience, as described below or an advanced degree with three (3) years of relevant experience as described below.

Relevant Experience considered in any combination:

+ Cybersecurity, systems security or hardening

+ Information Technology

+ Compliance-based auditing using the Risk Management Framework (RMF), DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and/or non-defense regulations such as FAA, Payment Card Industry (PCI), ISO 9001 Quality Management standards, or HIPPA

+ Experience working with and/or supporting computer technologies (such as: databases, operating systems, computer network hardware, software programs, hardware troubleshooting or electronics)

+ Physical security/security, policework/criminal justice, investigations, or Border Patrol

+ Project or program management, office management, senior administration, or account management

+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

+ Current IAM Level I certification (Security+ or other)

Qualifications we prefer:

+ Experience working in DoD classified operating and/or laboratory environments

+ Experience with various information system security tools that address vulnerability analysis and mitigation. These may include Splunk, Forcepoint, Ivanti, Tenable, ACAS, HBSS, etc.

+ Familiarity with implementation of Government directives and policies derived from NIST, CNSSI, DoD, or other Government Regulatory compliance standards within a professional industry

+ Experience in the execution of the Assessment & Authorization processes, as defined within the Risk Managed Framework (RMF)

+ Experience providing technical security consultation for complex, cross-domain, heterogeneous classified networked environments in collaboration with internal/external Customers, Information Technology (IT)

+ Familiarity with large multi-facility networks including diverse and complex components, including Windows and Linux environments

+ Experience interpreting, implementing, and assessing DISA STIGs.

+ Familiarity with the execution and management of cyber incident response; preservation, containment, and eradication

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Under the direction of the Security Supervisor, the Security Officer Level 1 will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, security, and compliance of the NTT Data Center physical infrastructure, equipment, and personnel. NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Hourly base salary for this position is $ 18.90 - $ 23.60 and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance to local state and federal ‘Wage and Hour’ requirements.

All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.

**Your day at NTT DATA**

Under the direction of the Security Supervisor, the Security Officer Level 1 will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, security, and compliance of the NTT Data Center physical infrastructure, equipment, and personnel. The Security Officer Level 1 (L1) will work closely with the Data Center Operations Team (DCOPS) to ensure that security measures are in place and functioning properly. The Security Officer L1, an entry level position and is responsible for the administrative and operational duties associated with a site security team.

This position is client-facing, clear and concise communication is required. Security Officer L1 is responsible for protection of personnel and company property, manages access control, monitors CCTV systems, responding to incidents, and completing written reports. Team members are expected to collaborate with other departments to assist with matters pertaining to the efficient operation of the data center, including Shipping & Receiving. The position enforces and adheres to security procedures based on policies determined by the Security Management team. Your vigilance and attention to detail will contribute to maintaining a secure environment for the NTT Data Center customer and the infrastructure.

+ Ensures that all employees, clients, vendors, and visitors on company property have proper company-issued identification.

+ Patrols assigned post on foot to maintain visibility and observes possible unusual activity.

+ Investigates, addresses if possible, and report security, maintenance, and safety conditions.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**

+ High School diploma or GED required.

+ Additional education or training in security-related fields is a plus.

+ Six Months experience in security roles, preferably in a data center or similar environment.

+ Experience in the administration and operation of: access control systems, CCTV systems with digital recording, and photo ID systems preferred.

+ Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and reliability in fulfilling security responsibilities.

+ Possession of relevant certifications such as Certified Security Guard (CSG) or Certified Protection Officer (CPO).
